Wonderful! - Absolutely a wonderful and beautiful palace and gardens! This was a highly informative and exciting semi-private tour thanks to our tour guide, Sonya. She was the best!

Pre-tour experince : booking the trip... - <p>Pre-tour experince : booking the trip was very easy however getting to contact the tour operator a few days before the trip was very difficult until the the night before. Pick up from the designated hotel was on time and excellent.<br/> The Actual Tour : The tour guide was excellent, sadly we all forgot his name, his knowledge of the french history was outstanding and he spoke with passion of his heritage. Gave us all an excellent snap shot of the city of Paris whilst we walked where we could to the nearby monuments. We were left wanting to hear more and see more of Paris, would therefore suggest an expansion of the tour a little bit at least to either include an option to hire the guide for a couple more hours to actualy enter a specific chosen monument eg eiffel tower as its fairly easy to get in.<br/> Would definately recommend this tour and the tour guide!!</p>

End result experience - Our trip had to be rescheduled to an alternate day due to cancellation by tour operator. They then couldn’t find our tickets. Lots of waiting around to get sorted. No microphone on the bus so hard to hear instructions. Didn’t wait for everyone to get off the bus when confirming meeting place for return. We did the guided tour and Veronica our guide at Versailles was exceptional. Very knowledgeable and made up for the other less than average service.

Tour of Versailles Palace - We had to cancel due to sickness, and we gave over 24 hours notice before the start time of the actual tour. However, Viator refuse to give any refund due to being slightly less than 24 hours notice from the meeting time for the bus pickup.
