Just book it. No regrets! - Marion was awesome! She explained the history of Versailles well and with clarity that I can tell my family the story as well! She's personable and easy to talk to if you had questions.

Worth the tour! - Very good guided full day tour of Versailles Palace, gardens, petite trinon, and village. I apologize for not having the guides name, but she was spectacular! Have toured Versailles before, but our guide knew exactly where to go and when, helped with older/slower travelers, and we were able to see the musical fountains.

Great experience - Loved all of the details shared and Ivan’s humor that made the information relatable but also surprising and fun to learn! Berrick rallied the group for the train and got us all there effortlessly.

A highlight of our trip, a tour that gives you more access than visiting Versailles on your own. - Versailles was everything I had hoped for. The Marie Antoinette hamlet was magical. It was practically time traveling. I am so glad we chose this experience. Amalie was our tour guide, she was a joy! Her knowledge is unmatched. She has a gift of explaining history in a fun, immersive, story-telling way. If you choose to do this trip and have her as your guide, you are in for a wonderful day!

A stressful day - I really wanted to love this tour. Mainly because I loved Versailles. Visiting there, I absolutely recommend. Unfortunately, the tour with Memories France was not what I hoped it would be. Admittedly, I will say that some of the issues my husband and I had with the tour were not things that the tour company could control, but when taken into full consideration with the entire day, it just really made for a really stressful experience. It didn't help that there were issues with transportation at the start of the day. Something happened with the original train we were supposed to take and the second one our guide chose ended up being delayed, causing us to get to Versailles an hour or so later than we were supposed to, which led to us having to wait even longer to get in because we'd missed our entry time slot and had to wait for them to fit us in at another time. I will say, the tour company offered us a discount if we booked another tour to make up for the inconvenience, but at that point our entire trip was already planned out and there was no opportunity to fit in another tour to take advantage of the discount being offered. The guide was okay, but struggled with English more than I expected on a tour that was advertised as being in English, so it was difficult to understand what she was saying somethings. I'll give her credit, though, because she did have a lot of knowledge about Versailles and would have likely been an excellent guide if she'd been a little easier to understand. Additionally, being late caused us to be rushed through the tour inside the palace and a little rushed through the gardens. By the time we were able to stop for lunch, it was so late in the day without having anything to eat or drink, I was starting to get sick but at the time we paused, all the available restaurants were either filled to max and not letting people in or they were closed. Our only option was to get a few snacks at one of the vendor trucks which really wasn't much of a meal. At that point, I was so exhausted and so frustrated and so stressed by how crazy the day had been, I just kind of found a place to sit and cry for a bit until it was time to meet back up with the group to continue the tour. I can honestly say, that's the first time I've ever been on a tour while on vacation that had me literally stressed to tears. So while I can say the Palace of Versailles is definitely worth a visit and I'm glad I went - I can't say I'm glad that I booked this tour.
