Athirapally falls - Our day trip was nothing short of amazing. Sooraj was our tour guide and gave us the best experience. On our way to the waterfalls I mentioned my love for sweets so he did a pit stop at a local chip & bakery. Our next stop was the hanging bridge and gardens. The gardens were extra special filled with hundreds and hundreds of butterflies. We then drove on to the waterfalls. They were breathtaking. After our long travels we were hoping to hike and get in some walking. At athirapally you walk down rock steps to see the full view of the waterfall, wear good shoes!! I almost started the day in flip flops and switches to water shoes last minute, best decision. We took so many photos along the way. Unfortunately we are here for a wedding and had to cut the day short skipping the beach but the waterfalls alone were worth this trip. Thank you so much Sooraj for a wonderful day!!!

Wonderful trip at Cherai beach and Athirappilly - The forest views were amazing. PALM trees increased the beauty of Athirappilly. The waterfall is the giant one and scenic. Take 2 hrs at least to enjoy the destination. Try to take a jungle safari to see many wild elephants . Cherai beach is the clean one to enjoy .

One day trip to Srivilliputhur - One day trip to Srivilliputhur We booked a sleeper bus from Coimbatore and reached Hotel Shri Subam AC at 5.30 am. Went to Sri Andal temple by walk at 7 am, had a good darsan including vadabadrasayi temple. Bought famous palkova.Took an auto to Thiruvannamalai temple ( Lord Srinivasa Perumal looks exacly like Thiruppathi temple) by 8.15 am. Steps were little steep and good view from there. We had pathaneer which is very famous there. From there we went to Madavarvalagam Shiva temple ( bigger temple) by the same auto and reached hotel by 11 am. Took rest till 1.15pm. Had wonderful lunch at Hotel Kathiravan AC and boarded bus just in front of this hotel to Sankaran koil. Had a good Darshan of lord Shiva, Gomathi amman, sankara Narayanar ( Shiva and vishnu in the same statue) and Putru koil.from there visited bambatti siddar jeevasamathi which is walkable distance from the temple. Reached hotel by 7 pm and took bus at 10.45 pm to Coimbatore. It was a nice one day trip.

Bsd Experience - The tickets that were supposedly included in our Viator package were not accepted at either waterfall we visited. Don’t trust Viator because they do not stand behind what they advertise. They would not even refund the amount I paid for the tickets so in essence I double paid.
