Awesome day learning about the products that make this area so amazing! - Amazing visits to authentic, small producers. Learned a ton! Would definitely highly recommend. And our tour guide was terrific! Spoke excellent English and explained the methods and history so well!

Great experience! - This was a great experience! Sergio was our guide and did an excellent job of educating us on the Parmigiano and prosciutto tours. The balsamic tour was excellent as well. We enjoyed all of the tastings offered. It was well planned and a great way to spend the day! Highly recommend!

Artisan Italian products are wonderful to sample - Italy boasts artisan products that are known around the world; among them are Parmigiano cheese, Parma ham and Balsamic vinegar. Parmigiano cheese is aged and matured until it is hard and tasty. Parma ham is made into a traditional aged product that adds to Italian cuisine. Balsamic vinegar is aged with herbs and spices to make vinegar that is used in cuisine and adds a special flavor. These three artisan products are unique to Italy and wonderful to sample.

Best tour to do in Italy - We had a great time in our tour. Our guide was Mattia and he was very knowledgeable and funny, a great tour guide, and we totally recommend having this tour with him. We recommend sitting in the front seats if you don't want to miss anything, and leave the back seats for people that want to rest or talk in the way to the different producers. You get samples in each place, but we totally recommend buying cheese and the balsamic because it's out of this world. By the end of the tour, we actually requested to be dropped at Modena's train station so we could get to know the city, and Mattia was kind enough to do that for us. We had the best time visiting Emilia-Romagna and we can't wait to go back and experience more of the amazing food Italy has to offer.

A must do if you're in the Emilia-Romagna region - This trip is a must do if you're in Emilia-Romagna which is essentially the food capital of Italy. Everything was explained beautifully and our guide was extremely knowledgeable about the places and their products including the traditional history behind it. We also got to sample everything from the variously aged Parmigiano cheeses to the prosciutto Parma and the variously aged balsamic vinegar, understanding the effect that the aging and method of preparation has on the final flavour of the products. The tastes and smells of all three products is heavenly and a experience every foodie should try. They were also very accommodating of requests and incredibly helpful during the entire trip. Thank you very much!

Well worth the trip to Parma! - We had the pleasure of spending the day with Matte (sp?) on this food tour. We were picked up right at our hotel (NH Parma) which was very convenient. He was so passionate about food production, and we learned so much at every stop on the tour. He was very friendly and relaxed and made the tour very enjoyable and knowledgeable. The samples at each stop were ample and washed down with wine. When we got to the balsamic vinegar producer, we had a local guide named Roberto who was also very knowledgeable and passionate about his field of work. We sampled many vinegars and enjoyed picking out bottles to take home. Overall, both guides were fantastic, accommodating, passionate, friendly, and welcoming to their region in Italy. Their pride was very evident on the tour. We went home with some delicious food and a wealth of knowledge. Would highly recommend this tour if you are interested in food and the local area. (Note: There are bathrooms available at each location)

Worth getting up early for! - We’ll never forget the aromas we encountered at each stop. Such concentrated olfactory memories will always bring back these experiences when we enjoy three of our favorite foods. Our guide was exceptional. He made our day fun, comfortable and informative.

Overall excellent experience - This was an excellent tour and the tour operator was outstanding. The transportation was in smaller, very comfortable, vans with 8 customers max. The driver/guides were outstanding. My only constructive comment is that tour group size is a little misleading. The description says 8 or 10 people max. The fact is that, at the attraction, van groups were combined so we had 40 people on the parmegian cheese factory tour. Our favorite was the balsamic vinegar tour.

Parmalook: a fun, delicious and slightly disorganized treat - I wish that more information was offered regarding the description online as well as information about the drive to each location. Our tour guide was fantastic and very knowledgeable. Also a reminder that there won't be a large meal would be helpful
