Great Tour! - We had an amazing time on our tour. Our guide was so knowledgeable about all of the locations we went to. You will never taste Parmigiano Reggiano at home like you will here. The Prosciutto di Parma will melt in your mouth. The generations of family producing Balsamico Tradizionale di Modena have shown a passion that goes back 135 years. Definitely do yourself a favor, and take the full day tour. We learned so much and created memories that will last a lifetime.

Farms are lovely, but van driver should stick to neutral topics - It was lovely visiting the farms and seeing the process of how the cheese, ham, and vinegars were made. The owner of the Parma ham place was especially charming to interact with. So that part was wonderful. However, our guide took it upon himself to inject American politics into the van ride. He has some right leaning, conspiratorial opinions. It is not like we asked for his opinion, he just jumped into a conversation that two of us were having between ourselves in the back. Although I was trying not to engage with him, he thought it was funny, and was trying to bait us. And at the end realizing how much I wanted the van ride to end, he tried to smooth it over by saying how much he loved all Americans. Honestly, I would have ranked this tour very highly if the van driver had just stuck to neutral topics. But his immaturity would not let him do so. It dismayed me to have to listen to him and taints my otherwise pleasant thoughts of the day.
