Go to Parma and not do this experience, you did not go to Parma!! - Simply amazing the whole experience! Not only to taste, but to see how the whole process of parmesan cheese, Parma ham and Balsamic vinegar that was what most surprised me, where what we are used to use is nothing but a “farce”. Try the ice cream and you'll see! The Guide Elena was simply the best Guide than in Trips I have ever made!

Parmigiano Reggiano factory, Prosciutto & balsamic vinegar private tour - Valentina made our experience truly unforgettable. From the start, her communication was thorough, and her meeting instructions were exceptionally clear. This private tour is perfect for seeing the top three attractions in the Parma area, and Valentina's expertise made it even better. Our first stop was the Parmigiano Reggiano factory, where she educated us on the entire process with live demonstrations, followed by a tasting of some of the best cheese I’ve ever had. Next, we toured the Prosciutto factory, learning about production from start to finish. Valentina even arranged a quick stop at a nearby castle, allowing us to capture stunning scenic photos. For lunch, we enjoyed delicious meats and cheeses we had just learned about. Our final stop was at a family-run traditional balsamic vinegar producer, where Valentina once again impressed us with her extensive knowledge. Her expertise across all three industries made the tour absolutely worthwhile. Highly recommended!

A foodie paradise tour! - This was an excellent tour while we were in Parma. It is a full day. It is also a very educational day especially if you have a guide like Marika who, while young is a food graduate, is extremely well informed, is also quite funny but all of this wrapped in a very sensible, respectful and wanting to please attitude. Your guide make makes or breaks your day….Marika made it a beautiful day! We started with the cheese factory and it was just amazing what we learned and the tastings! The hosts were also very nice and of course we bought the real parmiggiono cheese, 50 months aged….yummy! TIP: Bring a bag that keeps food cool or buy one for €1 at the cheese factory and fill it up along the way. Then we went to the Prosciutto for more learning and seeing how this is done. Even both of us being Italian it was an eye opener. We did a tasting and it was delicious. We also bought more food…prosciutto of course! Delicious! Then there is lunch at the Osteria where the views are spectacular and the food matches that. Finally the vinegar…OMG this is a great place to learn and see and taste what real vinegar is. Our host was amazing and spent time with us explaining things. The tastings…the tastings….DEVINE! I won’t spoil it but…don’t leave there without the real stuff because at home it will cost you a lot more! We’ve done a lot of tours but we’ve now learned that Get Your Guide does them better, provides real value, delivers exactly what you paid for, in spades. We loved every minute of the 8 hours. FINALLY: The unsung hero is the coach driver. You need to be great (not just good) to handle that coach at those altitudes with no guardrails. He did a majestic job of it. WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND tipping them both, generously. They have earned it. They have instructed and cared for us majestically. Enjoy the tour and….Buon Viaggio!

Highly recommend this tour - Absolutely wonderful day spent with our Guide, Claudia. We enjoyed each stop - including our hosted lunch. Claudia clearly explained the history and processing of the cheese, ham and vinegar. She was passionate as she spoke and she was easy to understand. Each producer took the time to meet us and talk about their products and the aging process. Our driver, Vincenzo, was also a pleasure to spent the day with. Would highly recommend this tour.
