Deep knowledge and love of a rich tradition! - This was fascinating. Pietro clearly has a true love of his region and a true pride in the tradition of Parmegiano Reggiano. We left with a much deeper appreciation for the high standards that make this food so special.

Absolutely worth it. - Both us and our kids (8 & 11) loved it. We were a small group which is always good while visiting such places. We could observe (sometimes touch) everything from a close distance. Very informative. The tasting at the end was a nice touch, I admit :)

Great guide - Loris explained everything very well. Learned a lot about the process. Could watch part of the production, as well as the salt bath and the storage. Got two different ages to taste and a sip of wine. Still a bit too expensive

Parmiggiano - a treasure, go see how it’s produced! - Loris, our guide, did an excellent job in explaining everything about the process of making Parmiggiano and Prosciutto (did both tours) - from start to the finished product. Great to see the cheesemakers working and how much effort is put into every single piece/wheel og cheese/prosciutto. Great day out in the country - tastings are generous. Loris by the way spoke English very well!! Thanks, I had a lovely time.

Lengthy work process - Loved seeing so many wheels of cheese on the shelves and learning how they can tell if they are good enough to merit the official stamp of Parmesan Reggiano. Also how they initially mix the ingredients and how different the taste is before the salt is added (wasn’t palatable at all)
