Highlights
  • Via Giuseppe Mazzini, 54 - We will make you discover Calestano, a very characteristic medieval village as well as one of the beating hearts of the Italian Food Valley.
IMPORTANT: If you do not have a car to reach us we offer a transfer service. Let us know in good time and we will pick you up in Parma.

We will put you at ease on our panoramic terrace - a fantastic view of the Parmesan hills - with a glass of wine: white or red ( of your choice).

Well, it’s time to prepare the pasta (we are already hungry).
Each portion will be combined with a typical Italian sauce.
Once the pasta is prepared, we can start eating it.
On the table, in addition to the pasta prepared by you, you will find Parmigiano Reggiano di Montagna and typical local cold cuts, but it is for the end of the meal that we kept our highlight: an excellent homemade tiramisu.

Virginia was super... - Virginia was super friendly and welcoming. She really knew her stuff about the food and region. We had an amazing time on the terrace and cooking with her and her cat! We didn’t even mind paying extra for the transfer service as everything was worth it!

Fantastic Experience in a Charming Italian Town! - We were driven about 30 minutes away from Parma through picturesque towns. We arrived at Virginia's home which was located in a charming Italian town. The views from the terrace were amazing. Virginia and her mom were very welcoming and friendly. The instructions were very simple and straightforward. English was used which facilitated communication. From beginning to end the whole experience was more than we expected. We absolutely recommend learning to make pasta with Virginia and her mom. Be ready to drink delicious wine, eat lost of pasta and a delicious home-made tiramisu.

Authentic experience in Parma - This was the highlight of our honeymoon in Italy! Virginia picked us up in Parma and we took a scenic drive to the beautiful medieval village she lives in. She explained how to make each pasta thoroughly and was helpful and encouraging. After we made the pizza, Virginia cooked with us our handmade pizza while we enjoyed some wine on their beautiful terrace. It felt like a private restaurant meal. The food was exquisite. We highly recommend this experience!

We already loved the car... - We already loved the car ride to the small town where we were going to have the workshop, it’s a beautiful landscape. The workshop itself was a lot of fun too: to learn about the process of making pasta, doing it ourselves and then that awesome dinner at Virginia’s beautiful balcony!

A Most Enjoyable, Memorable Evening - A long drive but to a beautiful village in a picturesque setting. Four of us went and made two types of pasta. We had salami and cheese appetizers as our pasta cooked. We were not offered cocktails, but had a bottle of red and a bottle of white mid-range wines. This was truly a most enjoyable evening and we purchased a third bottle of wine just to keep the evening. going. The value of this experience compare to the modest cost was exceptional!

Great small group experience - Virginia and her mother were excellent hostess'. They invited us into their home and family. The class was a lot of fun, and after making the pastas, they were prepared and served to us in a traditional Italian manner. Virginia is excited about what she does, and she will share in depth all the knowledge she has on the topic.

Lovely experience - Learnt a completely new way to make delicious pasta - both ravioli and tagliatelli. A lovely host made it a really enjoyable few hours, before enjoying the fruits of our labours with a glass of wine on the balcony. Thank you! Strongly recommend.
