Pasta making experience with a view - Virginia and her mother were awesome! Not only did we learn how to make pasta but we ate it and their hospitality is unmatched! It’s been one of the highlights of our week long Italy trip thus far. I’d highly recommend it!!!!

A wonderful experience in Calestano - We took the train from Bologna to Parma, and thanks to Virginia for being our transfer driver as well as our host and teacher. Her mother was delightful, and Cesar the cat was very cute. Her home is situated in the town of Calestano... very beautiful. The view from the terrace is stunning. We had so much fun making ravioli with truffle ricotta filling as well as tagliatelle. Virginia is an excellent teacher, and is very patient. The aperitivo and wine were wonderful, as was the homemade tiramisù. The stars of our lunch however were our ravioli and the tagliatelle with homemade red sauce... buonissimo! Grazie mille a Virginia! Highly recommend this experience.

Must-do! - In a word FANTASTIC! From flour and an egg to a delicious pasta dish with truffle. First the course and then on the terrace eating our homemade pasta where mother and daughter put the finishing touches. Delicious wine, a nice board beforehand, her homemade tiramisu for dessert, beautiful views. I would recommend this to anyone who ever comes near Parma.

A very special pasta event in a mountain village - Virginia’s pasta cooking glass is a great experience in a wonderful surroundings of the mountain village Calestano. Her roof terrace has great views on the village and mountains. There we had an aperitif, delicious starters from Emilia Romagna, the self-prepared pasta (Ravioli with ricotta-truffle filling and tagliatelle) and house made tiramisu. We took home 2 additional bottles of the Sangiovese red wine Virginia served along side the dinner. The pasta making itself was much fun, she was really striving and working hard for us learning how to do it. So we got a lot of insight and special hints. Overall a great evening finished by a walk we did on our own in the very picturesque Calestano Centro Storico at Night. Highly recommend event.

Great! - Had a very nice pasta lesson, definitely recommended. We learned how to make delicious pasta, ravioli and tagliatelle. Then we were allowed to the balcony with beautiful views, where we got an antipasti. Then our homemade pasta with a glass of wine and we ended with a tiramisu.

The best thing since sliced bread - We had the best best time. Virginia her mum and grandmother were incredibly accommodating. The lesson was explained well and we had a good giggle. It was heaven to reap the rewards, eating truffle pasta while looking at a beautiful view. Doesn’t get much sweeter than that.

Excellent pasta class! - Fantastic reception in a lovely little Italian village! We were warmly welcomed with water and coffee before the fork and good instructions. We learned to make pasta at home in the kitchen in a naturally professional way. Afterwards we had delicious ham, parmesan and wine on the terrace before self-made dishes with pasta. We had a great experience! Recommended!
