Paro Taktsang - Hike to Taktsang Monastery, a wooden structure perched on a cliff in the upper Paro Valley. The hike takes approximately 2 to 2.5 hours one way. Legend has it that Guru Rinpoche flew here on the back of a tigress and established the monastery when he brought Buddhist teachings to Bhutan in the 8th Century.
Namgay Artisanal Brewery - This microbrewery in Paro produces a variety of craft beers using locally sourced ingredients and traditional brewing techniques.
