Highlights
  • Parikia - Parikia, the capital of Paros in Parikia, the port of Paros, ships come and go all year long but mainly from spring and through summer, carrying people and goods.
  • Spitaki, House in the old town, Parikia - The most historic part of the town! Not far from the port in Paros are the beautiful whitewashed buildings of Parikia.Looking at it from the water, you would never guess there is such a gorgeous network of streets that make up the old town. I know we certainly couldn’t believe it! The Cyclidic architecture rivals that of a Mykonos or Santorini, and it’s easy to get lost in the maze of streets.
Sitting atop the Parikia Greece Old Town is a 13th-century Frankish castle. You’ll have fantastic views of the ocean from the walls of the castle ruins.
  • Panagia Ekatondapiliani - The Monastery of Panagia Ekatontapiliani in Paros, Cyclades: The church of Panagia Ekatontapiliani is located a few meters from the port of Parikia, the capital of Paros. This is one of the best-preserved Paleo-Christian monuments in Greece. According to the legend, the original church was constructed by Saint Constantine, first Emperor of Constantinople, after the offering of his mother, Saint Helene.
  • Pounta - Located оn thе west сοаst of Pаrοs, Рounta (Ρоundа) village is famοus for twо things. First, this is the placе from whiсh yоu cаn take taкe а bοat to Antipаrοs.Second, Pounta is popular among surfers for its kite center.
  • Antiparos - Located next to Paros Island, Antiparos is one of those Greek islands that have managed to stay off the radar.
Despite being so close to Paros Island, Antiparos is not so crowded but has a cosmopolitan character.
It is an ideal Greek island for laid-back holidays away from the hustle and the bustle!
  • Aliki - It is a beautiful fishermen village with a picturesque port, taverns and the beach Piso Aliki with white pebbles and salt cedars that spread down to the sea. Aliki is located at the southern part of Paros and it took its name from the salt-marsh (in greek: aliki) that is located at the edge of the village
  • Drios - Drios is a small village that extends along the southeast coast of Paros, nestled among low vegetation and crops. There is a small pier on the shore and a narrow beach, with small pebbles, that widens nearer to the pier.Drios is still one of the greenest villages on Paros, with impressive (compared to the Cycladic norm) clusters of trees and large sea pines on both beaches on either side of the port.
  • Lefkes - It is the most mountainous village of Paros and the most verdurous one. Lefkes was the first capital of Paros. The village is located under a pinewood on the hill. A walk around its beautiful narrow streets with the white joints will impress you. You will see the old washhouses that are still used by certain housewives, the House of Literature, the picturesque Ramnos, a street with taverns and other stores and the wonderful view: the sea and Naxos in the background.
  • Naoussa - Naoussa: Picturesque alleys and the Venetian castle on the beach, illuminated at nigh, add a magical note to the scenery, in combination with the marina and the small and big boats, fishing boats or yachts. Entertainment in Naoussa lasts till the small hours since there are all kinds of places to go. The city is built amphitheatrically at the second biggest bay of Paros, with the port and the marina and it has played an important role since the times of the Komnenos dynasty.

Paros island tour - Very good tour. Cristina was an excellent guide. Weather was much warmer than expected and there were two incidents of ill health so she did a great job. Ideal tour if you want to see as much as possible in one day.

Best day tour of Paros - highly recommended! - The tour took approx 8 hours but our tour guide, Georgia, made the day very enjoyable. She provided us with lots of information about the history of Paros in a chronological order. We thoroughly enjoyed every stop and would highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to do a full day tour of Paros with the lovely Georgia.

Lovely tour during an extremely hot day in Paros - The bus tour of Paros is quite pleasant. The guide is excellent, knowledgeable, and well-organized. However, the day we took the tour was extremely hot, and although the bus's air conditioning was working at its maximum capacity, it still became quite uncomfortable. As a result, several couples chose to leave the tour. Despite this, the tour itself, the guide, and the small towns we visited were all lovely.

Tour was good in parts, could improve. - We had a bit too much time in Parikia I feel at over 2 hours. 90 mins of history around Parikia would be sufficient. Also we didn't stop in Pounta for 30 mins as mentioned in tour info. The bus just stopped there and we caught the ferry to Antiparos. Antiparos is very nice and other locations were good to see on the tour. Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly to everyone. Would have given 3.5 stars if I could. The tour does give you a good feel for the island generally.
