From either of those 2 cities, you will reach the destination in 2 hours. Then, we will continue the trip by 4WD Jeep vehicle to enjoy the bumpy road towards Mt. Penanjakan which is the best spot to enjoy the breathtaking scene of the most popular Bromo’s Sunrise and the landscape views of Mt. Batok along with the highest mountain in East Java, Mt. Semeru. After witnessing the golden sunrise we move to the next ‘dish’ which is the Bromo volcano itself.
By driving down the hill, you will pass the vast sea of sand, from the eruption of Mt. Bromo. In a 30 minutes-easy trekking you will get all the way to the tip of the crater and witness the trembling sound from the ‘underworld’ inside the volcano. Then, you will get your breakfast buffet before we off to your drop point.

A lovely and wholesome experience! - The entire 3 days 2 nights trip was definitely memorable! The weather was not too cold, got some rain but was not too bad. Views were stunning.
We love our guides, Bima and Jhoni, who were very cooperative, flexible, friendly and knowledgeable.
Will definitely recommend Trippy Trip to everyone and would love to be back ❤️

Best experience ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - We had the absolute pleasure of touring with Aditya during our visit to the bromo vulcano and Madakaripura waterfall, and he truly made out trip unforgettable! Not only was Aditya professional, super friendly, and knowledgeable, he drive really save but also had a great eye for photography.

Perfectly planned trip with a friendly guide - I planned this tour along with a visit to the Majapahit temples/ruins since I was on a tight schedule and also traveling solo. Vincent, ever responsive and communicative, quickly arranged a customized trip for me at a great price! Nael, my ever-smiling driver and guide, was fantastic. He was punctual, drove smoothly, and was incredibly accommodating with all my requests. He also made sure to let me know well in advance that it could get chilly at Bromo, so I could grab a jacket—or rent one if needed. He somehow always made sure that we have the best spots—be it for coffee, for watching both the sunrise, and even parking! NAel also gave me plenty of time to fully enjoy the beauty of the sunrise and Bromo itself. What's particularly good about him is that he can be very talkative but also gave me my space when I wanted to think or take a nap. We ended up chatting about everything from the local culture around Bromo to even D&D!
Truly, I can't say enough about how easy it was to leave all the planning and logistics in their hands. 5/5

Sunrise at Bromo - The sight was truly sensational, breathtaking. The beautiful colors of the sunrise over the volcanoes start the program, so that after climbing up to the edge of the Bromo crater, we can look down into the constantly smoking, growling horn. It's a bit tiring due to the night departure, but it's definitely worth taking part in this half-day tour. Aditama was a great guide.

Amazing experience - Highly recommended experience! We booked the trip for the waterfall Madakaripura, Bromo and Ijen with two weeks in advance, and since that time the communication with them was proactive at any time. Our name guide was Andri who makes our trip memorable! He was quite active, taking us to the best spots for taking the best photos, giving us accurate information about the places and making our trip funny. Also the driver Sulis, highly recommended, he has good experience driving professionally and safely.
Do not hesitate to book a tour with this company!

Fantastic tour with professional guide - This was a perfect tour. Aditya was an excellent driver, the drive was so smooth we could sleep all tve way from Surabaya until we arrived. He was an excellent guide, taking care of everything from start to finish. Trippy Trip is very professional, the trip was really worth the money. Highly recommended. Dress warm because at night it‘s cold until sunrise.

It was a fantastic trip - It was very organised trip, we got an English speaking Guide , he was friendly and helpfull ... Bromo was spectacular.. driving was very safe... No hurry any where... He was very patient with us and clicked many pictures also

1 day Mount Bromo and Madakaripura Waterfall Tour - We took the Bromo plus Madakaripura 1 day tour with Qowim. First of all I would like to mention that Qowim has been the best guide we could have asked for. He was helpful, knowledgeable but also let us rest between the stops and have our own time to enjoy!!
The tour is fantastic and we have seen amazing places that we will remember forever. However, we would like to also note that there is a LOT of people on these sunrise spots so if you leave at midnight from your hotel, likely you won’t do much apart from travelling and sitting around until 5 am. We knew this in advance so we were prepared but good to know. Also bring a VERY warm coat, you can rent one there as well but if you already have one, you save the headache.
Also when you climb the crater the way there is really sandy so be prepared with appropriate clothing (e.g. dont wear white) and if the wind is blowing, be prepared to get dirty.
The waterfall was stunning!! Prepare by bring a raincoat and shoes that you can walk in the river with as when you walk towards the waterfall you will need to walk in the stream for some of the bits.
Overall we had a fantastic time as we came prepared and our tour guide just made the experience even better! 100% recommend

Bromo and Sewu! - The itinerary was well-planned according to our preferences, and Vincent answered all our queries patiently. As for the guide, Andriy, he made the trip very interesting and fun, fully guiding us during the Bromo and Sewu Fall hikes. He speaks good English and helped us with all our requests throughout the journey. I would definitely recommend Andriy for his punctuality, sense of humor, and the hospitality he showed throughout the trip!
