Cool nature and nice history combined with good wine - Great tour with a good guide that have great knowledge of the land and the customs. The Vellino winery was a real highlight with great wines and a really nice atmosphere.

What a wonderful day! - Our guide Nick is an amazing person with whom we felt at ease and had long chats about Georgian culture, food and history. The David Gareji monastery is a wonder and the road to the hills is pretty scenic too. Loved the short snack break where we munched on Georgian bread, cheese and the largest tomatoes I have ever seen! The wine tasting and lunch was an amazing experience, the hosts were very welcoming and we felt at home. The wine tasted far better than the ones we have had at local restaurants. We also bought churchkhela, fruit leather and pickle/sauce after a tasting session. Best part about the trip was that we got enough time at each place, there was no push selling at souvenir shops and we were very happy and content. Thank you Nick and team!

Kakheti - Nick is a very calm and safe driver. He is also very friendly if you want to. E friendly and gives you privacy when you want privacy. He also takes fantastic photos and is very patient, mature, and responsible. He arrived much earlier and stayed with us until we were done with all the activities and sightseeing. We never felt rushed. Absolutely recommend this company and Nick is very professional.

A great way to get the know Georgia - The guide who did the private tour with my husband and I was very sweet and genuine and went out of his way to facilitate a good day for my husband and I. We started the day with wine, brandy and chacha tasting, then travelled to the amazing Davit Gareji monastery. Following that, we tried churchkhela, followed by a stop in at a place making shoti bread in a tandoor-like pot. We ate the shoti bread with a kind of traditional Georgian cheese then headed on to the beautiful Bodbe St Nino's. Unfortunately, after that we headed back to Tbilisi rather than on to Signaghi because we misunderstood some questions asked by our guide in relation to the lunch (dinner) and the fact that we would hit bad traffic on the way back to Tbilisi if we had the meal. When I realised that we had been brought home and skipped the dinner, I contacted Karlo - he immediately got back to me to try to rectify the situation even though it was predominantly my mistake (though due in part to a language barrier and to the fact that we were running behind schedule due to difficulties with google maps in relation to our accommodation address). Our guide also contacted me, apologising and offering generously to return to take us for a meal in Tbilisi instead. We appreciated both the speedy response and the attempts to compensate us even though money had already been spent by Karlo's company on the meal we didn't end up having at Signaghi. I'm giving a five star review in spite of the mix up because it was an honest mistake which Karlo and our guide went above and beyond to try to fix. Our guide did a tremendous amount of driving over the course of the day, showcasing hundreds of kilometres of Georgia's scenery. I would recommend those considering the tour to share their location with the driver via WhatsApp half an hour before pick up, to facilitate a smooth pick up, as Google maps seems to be a bit off in these parts.

Great guide - Guide was friendly and informative. Highly recommend. The focus is on monasteries and countryside. Not primarily wine.

Great tour but not solely wine focussed. - Karlo was a great tour guide- very knowledgeable and fabulous English. The only thing is that tour didn’t really match the title- we were expecting a wine tour with a few wineries, instead we only visited 1 winery and then visited a convent and monastery. They were very interesting but not what we thought we were getting. The winery we did visit was great, but we would have preferred more wineries and less of the other stuff. The title of the tour is a little misleading.
