Train, floating market and temple ruins - Our guide was Bird, we stopped at a small coconut factory, where they had different items for sale. From there we traveled to the train market, where the market is actually on the train tracks and they clear out when the train arrives. After that we went to the floating market, where a boat travels from shop to shop and you have the option to purchase items. We had lunch , then went to the Temple ruins.

Great tour experience with Kevin & Lin - highly recommended! - I had an absolute blast with Lin and Kevin on this tour – it was truly one of the best organized experiences I’ve ever been a part of! Lin is an incredibly knowledgeable and experienced tour guide, with excellent English skills, which made the entire trip smooth and enjoyable. Every stop on the tour was well thought out and timed perfectly to avoid the heavy crowds, giving us a more relaxed and personalized experience. Kevin, our driver, was fantastic as well, navigating us safely and efficiently to each destination. Not only that, but she went above and beyond by capturing all the important moments with her camera and even airdropped the photos to us after the tour, which was such a thoughtful touch. I highly recommend this tour if you want a well-organized, stress-free, and memorable experience!

Floating & Train Markets with Susie Pimmaso - Susie picked us up early at 0700 from our hotel, with the driver & his decked out comfortable Toyota Commuter 9-passenger van. We opted out of the coconut farm tour since we've been to several. Sue took us first to the train market (several minutes drive from Bangkok) which was unique because there really was a full sized train with 2 or 3 cars passing every so often. A traffic cop announced the arriving train so sellers can secure their wares & buyers (mostly tourists) can safely scamper behind the red line. One of the sellers rudely pushed my husband from behind & drove us away from his stall because we were not buying from him. We went to another seller who was friendlier & greeted us with a smile. The train was very slow so that gave everyone ample time to find a safe place. The market had just about everything for sale- souvenirs, clothes, elephant pants, restaurants with street food, seafood, vegetables, fruits, toys, flowers, lottery tickets & more. It was crowded. We went back to the van where our driver handed us cold, refreshing, moist towels- what pleasure to feel that freshness on a sun-baked skin! He also had snacks for us. Susie brought us fruits to try like lanzones, mangosteen, etc. The floating market wasn't that far from the train market. Susie took us to a restaurant/store where they had restrooms. Another lady took our photo & at the end of our floating market adventure, had it ready, all nicely framed for US$6. How can anyone say no? Susie hired a motorboat to take us thru the manmade canals. Years ago sellers came to buyers on small boats with wares but today, most had fixed stalls where the boats stopped if something caught a tourist's fancy. I was surprised that the sellers also knew Spanish since there were quite a few tourists who spoke it. There was a lady selling coconut ice cream on her small boat and another selling chicken satay. This is a unique floating market, the first I've seen after visiting 136 countries. It's an attraction that shouldn't be missed. When we went back to the van, the driver was ready with the moist cool towels. Refreshing! We drove back to our hotel happy & pleased with our tour & our tour guide & driver. They are what makes Thailand the land of smiles. Susie & the driver gave us memories that'll make us smile when we think of our adventures at the train & floating market in Thailand. Absolutely recommended.
