- Erawan Waterfalls - Erawan Waterfall is celebrated as one of Thailand’s most stunning waterfalls. The main highlight of the park is the 7-tiered Erawan Falls with its emerald green pools. Erawan features seven distinct tiers stretching about 1,500 meters through the park’s dense rainforest. The park is named after “Erawan,” the three-headed white elephant from Hindu mythology. The top tier of the falls is said to resemble an elephant’s head. The admission fee for foreigners is included in your tour.
- River Kwai Bridge - Made famous by several films and books, the Bridge on the River Khwae attracts both Thai and international visitors. If a simple black iron bridge could tell a story, it would be a dramatic one. The bridge has steel plates over the ties, making it easy to walk across. Viewing platforms between the trestles offer views of the river and a place to step aside if a train approaches.
- JEATH War Museum - The name JEATH comes from the countries involved in the WWII death railway construction from 1942 to 1945: Japan, England, America, Australia, Thailand, and Holland. The JEATH museum showcases photographs and illustrations depicting the living conditions of prisoners of war (POWs) during that harsh period, with some contributions from surviving former POWs. The museum building itself was once a detention hut used during that time.
- Wat Chai Chumphon Chana Songkhram - Wat Chai Chumphon Chana Songkhram, also known as Wat Tai, is an ancient temple cherished by the people of Kanchanaburi province. Historically, the Thai army gathered many soldiers here to participate in a ceremony to honor a protective guardian angel. Travelers will enjoy a 45-minute Thai-style long-tailed boat ride from here to Wat Tham Khao Poon, taking in the beautiful scenery of the River Kwai.
- Wat Tham Khao Pun - Wat Tham Khao Pun is a cave temple featuring a fascinating labyrinth of illuminated passageways. The marked trail can be narrow in some spots, but navigating through the limestone formations to discover these underground shrines is an unforgettable experience.
- Chong Kai War Cemetery - Chong Kai War Cemetery is an optional visit. You can inform your guide if you wish to explore this site, which is significant to Thai-Burma history. Located just 2 kilometers south of town on the bank of the Kwai Noi River, the cemetery is on the former site of the Chong Kai prisoner of war camp. Its peacefulness serves as a reminder of the war and its aftermath.
