The JEATH museum showcases photographs and illustrations depicting the living conditions of prisoners of war (POWs) during that harsh period, with some contributions from surviving former POWs. The museum building itself was once a detention hut used during that time.
• Wat Chai Chumphon Chana Songkhram - Wat Chai Chumphon Chana Songkhram, also known as Wat Tai, is an ancient temple cherished by the people of Kanchanaburi province. Historically, the Thai army gathered many soldiers here to participate in a ceremony to honor a protective guardian angel. Travelers will enjoy a 45-minute Thai-style long-tailed boat ride from here to Wat Tham Khao Poon, taking in the beautiful scenery of the River Kwai.
