Great day in Pattaya - Great day spent on visiting landmarks of Pattaya. Very nice organisation and great guide - Vikky. We went to all attractions in.the schedule, listened to the story of Pattaya. Both the guide and the driver they were friendly and made this tour memorable.

Not as described - We are a family of 4, 3 of us English and 1 Thai. We hadn’t been to Pattaya before except my son and daughter in law so booked this to see the sights. It said you saw walking street, the pier and a gem factory but we saw none of them. Because my daughter in law is Thai the guide proceeded to speak to her only in Thai so obviously we didn’t understand. No commentary or information was given about Pattaya or any of the places we visited and the whole afternoon was in silence. They basically took us to the places, paid the admission and left us there. It was nothing but a glorified taxi service. On all the trips I have been on, never have I not tip the guide but unfortunately this time it wasn’t deserved or warranted. On the plus side the sanctuary of truth is amazing and worth a visit. The floating market is worth seeing too.

Good Sights But Disorganized Company - There was an additional surcharge for pickup south of Jomtien beach and then the transfer was 45 minutes late. It was disorganized as we were told then would be joining to a larger bus with a bus full of people. We were already a group of 8 had to tell them that we booked a smaller tour that said "max 10 people." Upon realizing this, they told us we were no longer joining a larger the bus and would continue our tour in our van as a group of 8. But they switched drivers and tour guides on us. Our guide was nice but wasn't very insightful and hardly shared any facts or details about or stops. She would just get us our tickets (when needed) and lead us at our designated stop then tell us to meet her in an hour or so. Basically we just paid for car/transfer service and someone to buy us tickets when needed. It was a bit disappointing. Wish that there were tips, insights and knowledge sharing that happened -- instead it just felt like the guide was just waiting for the time to pass so she could get us dropped off back at our hotel as soon as possible.

Bad experience in pattaya - Very negative experience, communication with sightseeing pattaya was very poor. Late in the evening before the tour I received a message that more money was needed payable to the driver to secure transportation., we waited in the morning for 30 minutes at the time given to us in the message and no one arrived. Viator refuses to refund for this tour that did not occur. We wary.
