Also known as Wat Phra Yai, the Big Buddha Temple boasts a towering 300-foot-high image of Lord Buddha, serving as the city’s most prominent landmark. Established in 1977, this immense statue is affectionately called Luang Phor Yhai or Big Buddha by locals.
