It was founded by Mr. Kim Hyun Chol, the Executive of Teddy Bear Island LTD, who fell in love with Thailand after visiting many times over a decade. He was charmed by the smiles and warm welcomes of the Thai people and admired the country’s beautiful attractions. Noticing that many Thai people enjoy taking photos at tourist spots, and being an avid photographer himself, Mr. Kim was inspired to create a place where everyone could capture memorable moments. This idea led to the creation of the Teddy Bear Museum, based on the concept of “travel treasure hunting with Teddy Bear.” The museum, designed by a Korean designer, is shaped like a 40-meter-long dragon boat. It is the first and only museum of its kind in Southeast Asia, covering an area of over 2,500 square meters and divided into 12 zones as follows:
