It is located east of Buzet, in the valley of Rečina, whose waters, after merging with the tributary Draga, form the river Mirna. The aforementioned ‘pools’ were created precisely thanks to Mirna, who made cauldron-shaped hollows in the limestone, which gave the whole village its name.
