The journey begins at a local market, where participants can immerse themselves in the authentic atmosphere and discover the main ingredients for the dishes they will prepare. As an appetizer, participants will create “Ceviche,” Peru’s national dish and a favorite among locals. This dish consists of small pieces of fish marinated raw in fresh, aromatic lime juice, tender onions, and boiled sweet potatoes, with optional Andean hot chilis. Participants will also prepare the delightful “Causa Limeña,” which includes mashed organic yellow potatoes seasoned with lime and “aji,” filled with fresh, seasonal local vegetables and crab. To conclude, participants will celebrate by making the renowned Peruvian drink “Pisco Sour” (with the option to prepare more than one glass!). The tour lasts 3 to 4 hours, offering an unforgettable experience.
