Huaraz - Transfer to Llaca Valley; Trek to Moraine Camp (4900 m)
Vallunaraju - Depart from Huaraz using private transportation to reach the Llaca Valley (3850 m). From this point, the journey continues on foot towards Moraine Camp, taking approximately two hours on the trail. The climb is quite long and steep; therefore, the pace is slow to prevent fatigue and to acclimatize to the altitude before the summit attempt the following day.
Moraine Camp - Nevado Vallunaraju Summit (5686 m) - Moraine Camp - Return to Huaraz
Vallunaraju - Depart from Moraine Camp around 2-3 am to aim for a summit arrival by approximately 8 a.m. After reaching the summit, the group returns to the starting point in the Llaca Valley, where transportation will be ready to take everyone back to Huaraz.
