• 6PMQ+PHF - Begin the vibrant and colorful journey to Otavalo in Imbabura province early in the morning. The first stop is Guayllabamba, where you can try “chirimoya,” a traditional fruit. Continuing the journey, you will reach the “Mirador de San Pablo,” offering a stunning view of the lake at the base of the Imbabura volcano. In the afternoon, arrive at Otavalo, home to the city’s famous handicrafts market, “Plaza de Ponchos,” where you can find carpets, wool coats, bags, and pottery crafted by the native Otavalo Indians (Otavaleños).

• Cascada de Peguche - The visit also includes the Peguche Waterfall, a stunning 50 ft. high waterfall formed by the river of the same name, originating from Lake San Pablo. This waterfall is a major tourist attraction in Otavalo due to its proximity and easy access. It is considered an Indigenous Ceremonial Site because of the purification baths held here a few days before the Inti Raymi celebration (Sun and harvest celebration, June 21st).
