- Archaeological Museum of Pella - Located on the northeast side of the archaeological site, Pella’s museum is the final stop for visitors after exploring the area. Here, they can admire numerous archaeological artifacts and relate them to the region’s monuments, gaining insight into various aspects of daily life in the Macedonian capital.
- Museum of the Royal Tombs of Aigai (Vergina) - The expansive archaeological site of Vergina includes the Museum, the Palace, the city (ancient Greek term: «άστυ»), the acropolis, and the surrounding area. The Royal Tombs in the ancient necropolis of Aigai are the most significant attraction. The district also features a museum with artifacts, preserved under mud for many years, as the tombs were. The museum’s most notable exhibit is the gold larnaca (funerary casket) decorated with the star of the Macedonian Dynasty, which contained the remains of King Philip II and fragments of his golden wreath.
