Additional Information

The coastline of Montenegro is speckled with small, vibrant sites, each narrating its own historic tale. Prominent among these is Kotor, a city that is renowned for its splendour and enigma. Journeying to Kotor, along the coastal route, we find ourselves unveiling fragments of history that beckon us to immerse ourselves in relaxed exploration. Our voyage becomes particularly captivating upon pausing at the city-museum of Perast, and venturing to the two man-made islands of St. Jurij and The Lady of Škrpjel. The combination of the petite city and the islands unfolds a timeline spanning from the Neolithic era to the Illyrians, the Venetian Republic, and even Napoleon. Venetian architecture dominates Kotor, nestled within a striking terrain, flanked by what are known as rias, or submerged canyons. And let’s not forget the incredible local food!

Where sky meets the sea - You have to see it, to believe it. Montenegro mountains will leave you mesmerised and you will need to pinch yourself to see if what you are seeing is real. Be ready to suprise yourself how involved and historically important Montenegro is, and see the evidence as you go. A real journey trough time and space.

Great trip in Kotor - It was a great trip that we booked with Ivana. I think an extra free time in Kotor would be perfect.
