Day In Singapore

The Merlion (Sentosa)
Sentosa is where Singaporeans go for weekend getaways. Take the Sentosa Express monorail to the island and explore the various attractions from the Merlion, to Dolphin lagoon to the Megazip adventure park. Skip the western attractions like Universal Studios, and the casino was disappointing
Fort Siloso
Get some history in the early afternoon with Fort Siloso on Sentosa island. Fort Siloso was where Singaporean/British army made the last stand against Japanese invaders during WWII. Though eventually lost, this fort provides a glimpse into the final battle and the daily life of Singaporeans under Japanese rule
Marina Bay Sands Casino
Skip the casino and the gambling, but go for the number of top rated restaurants on the second floor of the casino. Try the chili crab, a local favorite, but be prepared to shell out some big bucks. Another option is Clarke Quay, essentially a bay outside the hotel that is surrounded by restaurants where patrons can sit and watch the boats go by
