Grab some of their famously delicious pork rolls to go as energy for the day. I'd suggest getting at LEAST 2-3 rolls per person. And don't forget the dipping sauce!

Hightail over to Disneyland and spend the day riding rides, seeing the sites and devouring carnival-style food

Get some Dole softserve to cool down in the afternoon heat.

You won't want to miss this ride. In fact, grab as many fast passes as you can because there are 4 different versions of the ride, and you & your family will want to experience each one!

Every kid's (and adult's) favorite Disneyland ride. Rollercoaster in the dark. Enough said.

Fried chicken dinner here will surprise you. Not yoyr typical park food.

Stay around to watch the lighting of the castle and the fireworks spectacular (around 9pm). Always a beautiful site.

If fireworks aren't your thing, head over to the Yard House at the Irvine Spectrum. Good food for the family and a huge selection of beers/cocktails for the adults.

Great location... across the street from Disneyland. Not the most luxe hotel, but it is clean and for the price, it can't be beat.
