Jardín Principal
There is no better way to start the day in San Miguel de Allende than an early morning visit to the Jardín Principal in the historic town center. The Jardín always has some type of activity regardless of the time of day or night. An early morning stroll through the Jardín provides time for quiet reflection of the grandeur of La Parroquia.
Parroquia de San Miguel Arcángel
While you are in the town center, you will be awestruck by the incredible architectural feat that is La Parroquia de San Miguel Arcángel. Constructed to be one of a kind in the world, it pays homage to the Patron Saint and namesake of this quaint, colonial city - Saint Michael Archangel. Archangel Michael is widely accepted in Christianity as the most fierce warrior angel in God's army. This church does him justice as it towers over the city.
Jardín Principal
After you are ready to unwind from Mamma Mia's, take a stroll through the Jardín Principal to end your day. The park looks completely different at night as the cobblestone streets glisten in the soft lighting. Mariachis are always abound to serenade your sweetie. Street food vendors are stationed around the Jardín as well, offering a bounty of traditional finger foods.
