Breakfast at Highland Bakery
Easily the best breakfast in town. I suggest going to the original location in the Old Fourth Ward.
Silver Comet Trail
Running or cycling along the Silver Comet Trail. Its 60+ miles of old railroad paths that have been paved over for recreational use. Its nice and flat and perfect for a beautiful, relaxing workout.
Tin Lizzy's Cantina
Tex-Mex food to die for! They are known for their tacos but be sure to try the chips and guac! The seasoning on the chips is amazing...
Piedmont Park
Huge inner-city park that is always packed and has lots to do. Bring a frisbee for a game of ultimate with friends, a picnic for that romantic afternoon, or your dog for a run to the dog park. One of the most popular places to hang out by locals on a nice day.
Holeman & Finch Public House
Best burger I have ever eaten! However, they only seve 24 burgers each day (all at 10pm) so make sure to get there early and place an order. Also, they will make you a personalized drink to match your tastes and mood. Just tell the waiter/bartender what you like and they will work it out.
Hand in Hand
In the Highlands with all of the young professionals. A great chill spot with lots of outdoor seating for a nice night.
I would stay at: W Atlanta - Midtown
Great bar downstairs and easy access to anywhere else you might want to go.
