Embark on a half-day escapade down Scotland’s River Tummel near Pitlochry, engaging in the thrilling activity of bugging. Each participant will commandeer an individual watercraft that resembles an oversized inflatable. Following comprehensive guidance from our seasoned river bug trainers, you’ll be ready to hit the aquatic rapids decked in your webbed gloves and complete wetsuit equipment. We’ll assist you in navigating your unique route down the frothing white water rapids. Expect a journey filled with adventure, exhilaration, and assured enjoyment! Weight limit is 14st/90Kg.
- Minimum age is 12 years old. Exemption: minimum age is 16 years old during the weekends in June, July, August and September.
- Maximum weight is 14st/90kg

Fantastic River Bugging - Phoned up Splash on the day, hoping they could squeeze us into something adventurous and they didn't disappoint. A couple hours later we were River Bugging which was a new experience for us both. Dean and Xan were fantastic with out group and made it fun, exciting and safe for us. Would recommend to anyone hoping for a bit of an adrenaline rush and a fun activity.

Amazing day Bugging - We had Javier and Kyle as our instructors and we they were both amazing .very patient and so enthusiastic.we felt relaxed with these guys and had so much fun. It was our first time trying river bugging are so glad we chose it . We laughed and challenged ourselves thanks to Javier and Kyle as they motivated us all they way and what a great day and experience we had .we will definitely be back for more . This is the second time we have booked Splash and recommend them they are professional and great 👍 Thanks guys for the fun time

Brilliant experience loved it. - Our group of 7 of us did the River Bugging, we all absolutely loved it and couldn’t recommend doing it enough. Our two guides were outstanding and made it even more enjoyable.

A Rerr Terr On The River - A fabulous morning spent on The Tummel with Stu our instructor There were only two of us in the group and Stu certainly gave us lots of expert guidance on how to get the highest level of enjoyment from our trip. River Bugging is a fabulous, fun activity providing great excitement for all. I can highly recommend this. A great birthday trip for me. Thank you Stu and Splash

Give it a go! - Had a great morning out with our group of 4. Dean and Frankie were brilliant, very happy with it all. Definitely worth doing if you're looking for something to do when you're in the area!

Such fun - Didn't know what you expect. The seats are similar to a cut down inflatable canoe

Great fun family day out - We had a great fun family day out with our teen daughters. Really well organised trip and great instructors who were really enthusiastic and helped us throughout the morning. Highly recommend the river bugging which was so much fun going down the rapids. We will definitely book with splash again as we all want to try some of their other activities.
