A true and raw experience and insight into WA - Wow! What an amazing trip, and all thanks to Geoff, the best tour guide you could ask for. We didn’t miss a stop or an experience, and Geoff made sure we were the most well looked after at every opportunity. The snorkelling and whale shark opportunities over exceeded any expectation, and memories I will forever cherish. This is trip felt like the real Australia and an absolutely must do whilst in WA (or anywhere in the world).

Outback Odyssey: A Blend of Nature's Splendours & Stunning Sunsets - Great trip! Our small group of 12, of mixed ages, was fantastic. Our guide, Andrea, was an excellent and safe driver, passionate and knowledgeable about her work. We saw amazing sights, visited remarkable places, and the water wildlife was exceptional. Whether you're a solo traveler or with others, I highly recommend this trip. While there are some long drives and a timetable to follow, Andrea made it easy and relaxing. Most evenings, passengers pitch in to help with cooking, with no set roster, adding to the camaraderie. Be flexible and embrace the journey, and you'll have a wonderful experience.

A wonderful trip - What a wonderful tour! Our tour guide Geoff and trainee Andrea looked after us very well and went above and beyond to create a memorable trip for us. So very well planned. We went to so many spectacular places and saw a wide range of wildlife. We snorkelled on the Ningaloo reef and swam with whale sharks ( additional cost). Both were amazing. Our group was a mixture of ages, which added to the trip. Would definitely recommend this Autopia tour to anyone looking for a West Coast adventure.

An awesome experience of WA for a solo traveller! - The tour was well organised and very fun for a solo traveller. The itinerary was great and the host was well-versed in facts and stories that were delivered during the driving portion of the trip. You will need to expect to sit on the bus for long periods of time. This was not an issue for me as I enjoyed watching the scenery, listening to Geoff's (our tour host) knowledge, mingling with the other people on the tour, listening to music, and even catching up on sleep! This tour also involves helping out during meal times. The tasks are relatively easy and mostly involve chopping some veggies, stirring the dishes on the stove, and doing some quick clean up after. It's a fun way to bond with other people on the tour and makes you appreciate the value of time, preparation, and the process of cooking. As someone who opted to stay in the shared dorms, I mostly had to share with someone else on the tour. There were only two locations that required sharing rooms with non-tour people. If you choose this accommodation option, expect to share rooms and bathrooms. For the most part, this was okay as you only need your room for sleeping after a long day of fun adventures. The majority of the tour you will be out in nature or on the bus. If you are a sensitive/light sleeper, you might want to consider a private room. I ended up taking part in most of the extra activities including the snorkelling, whale shark, and abseiling experiences. It is not necessary but I'm really glad I took part in these add-ons as the memories and experiences were unique and priceless. There is also an app called Photo Circle where travellers can share their photos with one another easily. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my experience and wish I could rewind time to live through it again. Thank you to Geoff for being a friendly, thoughtful, and expert tour host. Thank you too to the eight other people I shared this trip with! What a memory to cherish.

Exceptional trip - would recommend! - Absolutely brilliant trip! Myself and my partner were thinking about hiring a camper and making our way up the west coast on our own. Having now done the trip I am so happy we chose this option instead. We were with a smallish group of only 9 people and our brilliant tour guide Geoff. Our group became very close and only helped enhance the whole journey by sharing with them and our guide! The tour was brilliant, we saw so many amazing things, beautiful places and wildlife! Our guide Geoff was brilliant, knowledgable, friendly and shared lots of interesting personal stories as well as facts about the areas we were passing through and wildlife. If you’re on the fence about booking this, or thinking about doing it under your own steam I would certainly recommend doing this trip! It takes away all the stress of planning and organising things. Also having someone keeping your times on track and also doing all the driving for you just makes this an easy and relaxing experience in comparison to what it could otherwise be. To all our friends on the trip, thank you, we loved spending time with you! To our guide Geoff, thank you so much, to meet someone who is both so good at their job and loves it so much was inspiring and you made our trip seamless and something that we will never forget.

Good introduction to WA designed for backpacks - Great trip giving a taster of some of WA that I’d go back to visit again sometime. The tour guide (Danny) is very knowledgable of the area and adaptable to the groups varying needs as the group had a wide variety of age groups. I did however feel the van was very cramped and when mentioned, it was not their usual one which did surprise me for the distance we travelled, I’d thought they would swap vans to ensure passenger comfort throughout the trip, after all we did cover over 3000km’s from start to finish with many hours spent in the van each day. I felt that this tour is based more for the young backpackers which is not what was advertised through my travel company (inspiring vacations) and the accommodation on offer for those wanting privacy was very basic for the price paid.
