Time well spent away from the bustling city - We were picked up by our tour guide from our hotel, as previously arranged, and headed off out of the city while learning how the tour was organized for the morning. On our way to the National Park we learned lots of local information provided about the sights along the way. Arriving to the park we saw Kangaroos grazing, some with Joey's visible in their mum's pouch, very cute! We went off to Crystal Cave next, safety briefing given from the Caving guide, then headed 13 m underground to see some beautiful and incredible sights, learning how and when the cave was discovered, and the changes that have occured since then. Great cave guide, with a good sense of humour; we felt very safe. Back to view more kangaroos, then a wander along the boardwalk to spot and watch a large adult koala feed hungrily on gum leaves, he was in no hurry to move on . We wandered around adjacent to the koala for some time enjoying the early flowering wild flowers, and also gaining an appreciation of the Australian bush. As we were in good time we were treated to a scenic trip on the way back, going out to the coast and seeing a little more of the environs. A great half day tour which we are both recommending - it was a well organized tour with lovely hosts.

Yanchep National Park - The Yanchep National Park is indeed a jewel in the crown of Perth's tourist destinations. The plant life and wildlife are captivating, the Crystal Cave is amazing and the historical Chocolate Drops Cafe and the Yanchep Inn provide a delightful setting for a meal. One big drawback, which should be made clear to all potential visitors is, that unlike most attractions, the Park IS NOT, accessible by public transport and, while the new train service will take you to the Yanchep Station, from then on, you're on your own unless you want to make what would an extremely long hike.

See a lot of wildlife - The trip was fantastic. We see kangaroos, koalas and even black cockatoos in Yanchep. The cave was also amazing. It was great to see the cave. Our guide makes a lot of pictures of us, so that was very nice

Massively overpriced - Of all the tours we did in Perth this was by far the worst value. The destination of Yanchep is a beautiful area but there’s not much to see other than the caves. That said we did enjoy the cave tour. But we did a small group Swan winery all day tour with wine, morning snacks and lunch for less per head. Here you get transport to the area and the cave and that’s it. Do yourself a favour. If you want to visit Yanchep rent a car for the day and you’ll do it for a fraction of the cost of this tour

Aussie Tours is terrible - The park itself was lovely and the cave extraordinary. Crystal cave was closed do we did the other one but it was phenomenal so that was a blessing! The revois bad because of the tour company. Aussie your accepted our booking and then said they wanted to change days. We didn’t have another day so they said they would make it happen. All good until we arrived at park and the driver said he did not have a commercial license because he was an Uber driver. We had no idea. They did not want to let us in. I purchased this as a birthday gift for my colleague and we were all upset by it. The park authority said they were going to ban Aussie Tours from coming in. Do not book with them but do go see the caves!
