Additional Information

Get to know Perth in a whole new way, exploring the picturesque eastern foreshore of the Swan River and discover Perth’s hidden gems off the usual tourist route! Our journey takes us along the eastern foreshore of Perth’s pristine Swan River through an urban wetland, a haven for native birds on the urban fringe of the CBD. Keep an eye out for dolphins and Western Australia’s iconic black swans. Just off the foreshore route is the small inlet Claisebrook Cove, one of Perth’s hidden gems. A hub of riverside cafes, bars and elegant homes, you could be forgiven for imagining yourself in a quaint European village. As we meander back through East Perth to the city, our route passes some of the city’s most beautiful heritage buildings including the famous Perth Mint, historic Government House and the lush Supreme Court Gardens.

Do yourself a favour and experience a segway tour, it was alot of fun. - We were fortunate to have a personalised tour with Winona who took the time to teach us how to use the Segway before heading off to explore our lovely city and East Perth foreshore. We live in Perth and were impressed by her knowledge of history and the various landmarks she pointed out along the way. She was very clear through the ear piece and was aware of pedestrians/bikes and traffic when she guided us through busy areas. She is a great tour guide. This was a lovely gift idea from my husband and we learnt a thing or two about our own City. What a enjoyable way to explore the foreshore and venture into East Perth and what a view across the river to Optus stadium. We both really rated the whole experience. What a city we live in !!! Do yourself a favour and experience a segway tour, it was alot of fun.

Extremely Enthusiastic and Enjoyable - Had a personalised tour with Winona and ended up having a wonderful time learning about Perth. She took the time to teach me how to use the Segway (i’d never ridden one before!) and give me enough practice before heading off onto the actual tour. She was extremely enthusiastic and very knowledgeable about the city. Quite pleased I chose this tour and would highly recommend going on this as it’s such fun to ride around the city while getting to know the place!

Private Segway Tour in Perth - We booked a private tour. Justin, our guide, showed us very beautiful corners of Perth that you wouldn't normally get to know. We particularly liked it in Claise Brook. The explanations and stories that Justin told us were also great.

To go further than with our feet - The excursion to the east of Perth allows you to see outlying neighborhoods which give another idea of the city. We really liked it!

An awesome way to see the city - Hubby and I hadn't ridden a segway before and I was a bit apprehensive at first as am 60 years young but our guide Justin soon had us feeling confident enough to leave the safety of the area in front of the store and off along the Perth foreshore we went. It was so much easier than I had imagined and very enjoyable. We live in WA and had been to Perth many times in the past 40 odd years but this was quite an adventure. Justin was very knowledgeable with the history of the area and we learnt so many new things about our city. Headed into the East Perth area and discovered places we didn't know existed. Justin pointed out many interesting buildings and was full of facts. It was such a fun and interesting tour to do and we would totally recommend it.

Even the half would be too expensive, not proficient - I can not recommend the tour because I didn‘t appreciate it. No explanations, no entertainment… it is not enough to say „ look there, a wonderful garden „ etc… I enjoyed the segway- idea but the tour guide wasn‘ prepared. It is too expensive…. Even the half would be too much. It wasn‘t possible to ask because we were without microphones. One break to take pictures. The way was flooded due to the rain the day vefore and so we got into trouble. As I just said… not prepared…
