An absolute delightful find and well worth the insight - We sort of stumbled on the mint and decided to pop in. A tour was about to start and thought why not! Well! What a great tour. Not only do you get to see the incredible gold coin for real, but also the guided tour of Australias gold nugget finds as well as the brilliant demonstration of how a gold bar is actually produced. Great interactive weight scales and commemorative coin. Don’t miss it!

A excellent mint tour. - An excellent tour in Perth mint. The one was giving the tour is very educational, entertaining and to the point. He gave the tour group a demonstration how to make a gold bar. After the tour, I went to the scale, and I am worth 10 million dollars. We had a little token and stamped.

Perth Mint 10/10 - Shoutout to Oliver, the best tour guide out there. Made it fun and enjoyable. Bring back the early clock off on a Tuesday for the pub. He definitely deserves the gold bar ;)

Highly recommend the Mint Tour - Our guide Oliver was very entertaining and informative. I have never been on a mint tour before and had no idea about the minting process. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, particularly the gold bullion pour.

First time visiting - The Perth mint, is s beautiful old historical building. Oliver the tour guide was brilliant!! Very informative, knowledgeable and added a lot of fun and humour in the tour. The gold pour included in the tour, was amazing definitely worth doing the tour you need to pre book and fills up quickly. Printing your own memorable coin in the press was great fun too, you can only do this in rhe tour which was included in the price. Great for all ages, i wouldnt say it was wheelchair friendly as it was built in the late 1800’s .

A Mint that doesn't accept cash. - Always an enjoyable and interesting place to visit even if not participating in the gold tour. I was there to check out the newly minted coins, purchased a couple of 125th anniversary carded coins and wished that I could win Lotto and invest in some of the silver and gold treasures. Great place to visit when in Perth and friendly pleasant staff awaiting to extract payment for the creations on display. Card only now although still minting coins that are legal currency.

Golden experience - There is a tour of the mint which shows you how gold is melted. There is a 1000kg gold coin which is worth a lot of money. You can also buy bullion gold from the shop but you will need to register. It is an interesting visit but there is not so much to see like a museum. There is a shop which you can customise silver coins with your name.
