Perth Mint tour - Both of our tour guides were friendly, informative young ladies. The Gold pour was the best we have ever been to. Well worth the tour fee, very highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Perth.

A good day out in Perth centre - This is a great half day out, especially on a rainy day. See the biggest gold coin in the world. See how much in weight you are worth gold, press your own coin. The best bit is the gold pouring display where a gold bar is created right in front of you. Our cute guy, Dakota was very knowledge and helpful, even if the weather worked against us.

Unexpectedly fascinating! - I was recommended to visit Perth Mint and take the tour by the taxi driver when I arrived transiting between Brisbane and London. I wasn’t sure I’d find it interesting but I was wrong. This is my first visit to Perth and my first ever tour of a Mint and it was fabulous. Madeline and Veronica made excellent guides. It was very informative but not overwhelming. I enjoyed how it started outside in the courtyard, making our way through the displays, with the gold bar pour in between, and then finishing with the souvenir coin strike. The pour was of course the highlight of the tour but everything else flowed and fitted perfectly. I appreciated that the tour guide spoke through a portable speaker as often you can struggle to hear everything they say. Everyone was incredibly friendly and professional and their passion was clear and for $24, it’s excellent value too.

Interesting building & history. - The history of the mint & building is very interesting. Not enough time given to read all information available before seeing pouring of melted gold bar.
