Highlights
  • Perth - Join us on tour for a day exploring some of the West Coast’s most stunning natural regions. Located only a short drive from Perth, we’ll take you into Yanchep National Park first.

  • Lancelin Sand Dunes - After 1.5 hours from Perth, we stop to stretch our legs and take in the views from Lancelin lookout, home to the largest network of sand dunes in Western Australia. These gigantic snow-white dunes are a stark contrast to the glistening turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean in the distance.

  • Nilgen Lookout - Shake the sand out of your shoes, before we travel on to the Nilgen Nature Reserve. In a region abundant with flora and fauna, we’ll wander through a kaleidoscopic of wildflowers, including the likes of banksias, bottlebrush, heath, grass trees, and kangaroo paws; all bursting with life, when in season.

  • Hangover Bay - If the flowers are in hiding, we’ll instead head over to Hangover Bay, where you can dip your toes in the crystal-clear waters or spot the likes of bottlenose dolphins and sea lions.

  • Nambung National Park - With our lungs full of fresh sea air, it’s time to journey on to the Nambung National Park to witness the remarkable Pinnacles desert at sunset. Made up of shells, the Pinnacles date back millions of years to a time when the land was beneath the sea. Best explored at dusk when the crowds evaporate and the thousands of limestone pillars rise eerily out of the desert; watch the colours change over the rocks, creating a lunar-like atmosphere.

  • The Pinnacles - Enjoy a Picnic dinner accompanied by a glass of local product wine (all included), while we settle in for a spectacular light show of natural wonder, beneath the sky. As the darkness sets, it’s time to marvel at the other-worldly beauty of the stars and planets, swirling high above. Listen to the ancient stories of the Aboriginal Dreamtime and gaze light-years away.

  • Perth - On the way home to Perth, we will stop and take in the wonders of the night sky.

Enjoyable day outing but regrettably not many stars to see.... - The Guides are friendly and knowledgeable with interesting stories about the places we visited. Regrettably the night was cloudy and we can't see the stars. The dinner spread is fine and there are more than enough food and wine for everyone. Recommend to join this 1 day outing.

Put it on your bucket list! - An amazing part of our beautiful country, an absolute must see when in WA. The sky at night is amazing! It is a long journey there and back to Perth, and would have been much more comfortable in a more appropriate bus. Whilst Barry the bus is cute, it is an incredibly small seating space, quite claustrophobic, with no leg room and nowhere for backpacks etc except for your lap 😒 Summer was a delight, a very knowledgeable tour guide and lots of fun. Thanks Summer!

Nice stargazing, but some description is misleading - We were so lucky that the sky is clear and moon is not there, so we can see many stars and the milky way. The sunset at pinnacles is nice too. Our guide did a great job in giving commentary, taking care of us and also helping us take pictures under the stars. Only thing to say is that some description on the itinerary is misleading, such as we did not go to the sand dunes but a lookout that can see the sand dunes, we did not went to Nilgen Lookout or Hangover Bay but just Wedge Lookout, and the dinner/stargazing is in a nearby picnic area but not inside the pinnacles.

At the mercy of the weather - The sky was cloudy, no stars in sight. I know it’s not in our control but still it was so sad. Also no sandboarding which could have been fun.

Nice tour - It was nice and our tour guide (Sana) were very good, but even though you tell about your diets/allergies it doesn’t help. They have standard menu on the dinner.
