Excellent Rottnest island tour - Excellent once we found where we had to be. A tip for tourists would be to find the train station when u first get to the island and go there… we got lost with poor instructions from clueless staff. Great tour guides. Lovely lunch. Comfortable travel and interesting info. Would recommend .. make sure u take a travacalm before journey and on way home as ferry can be a bit sickly

A perfect day at Rottnest Island - Rottnest Island is absolutely beautiful. Gorgeous beaches, clear blue waters, and plenty of wildlife. A relaxing day trip which included the ferry to the island, this took 1.5 hours, we had some free time, then joined the grand island tour, which included the historic train ride (around 18 minutes) a tour of Oliver Hill gun fortification and tunnels, lunch was provided, then we enjoyed the included bus tour around the island, stopping at various locations, like Wadjemup Lighthouse and Henrietta rocks. We were fortunate to see several quokkas in the afternoon. Overall had a very enjoyable day out at Rottnest Island.

Excellent Experience - Excellent all inclusive trip to Rottnest Island. Nicky was very informative and helpful with all info needed. Lovely easy lunch overlooking the water and even saw dolphins. The train ride up to the Oliver Hill gun battery and tunnel tours was enjoyable and Peter did a great tour of that. Very hot day, only downfall for the day.

Good for quick round island tour - The Grand Island Tour on the bus was a very easy, convenient and quick way to see most of the island. Ferry arrived at 10am+ at the jetty. Had time to visit The Basin and soak feet in the water. Then quickly head back to meetup place for the bus tour. Which Started at 1130am and ended by 330pm. Good for elderly and those with children. The bus is air-conditioned and comfortable. Tour started at the Settlement Train station which is just 5 minutes walk from the jetty. We took a train up the hill to the lighthouse. From there, there is a tour by volunteers, explaining the history of the island. Thereafter we transferred to a bus and the tour guide is such a lovely lady. She had clear explanations and was familiar with the island. We had a simple lunch. A few Short stops at iconic places to take photos. Also managed to see 3 wild quokkas in its nature environment. If you want to snorkel, then you’ll have to get a bicycle , cycle to one of the beaches and spend more time there… with the bus tour there isn’t any time to snorkel or cycle ..as the ferry leaves at 430pm. We managed to get some gelato before we left. On a second visit , we could just rent a bicycle and snorkel to spend more time in the clear beautiful waters.

Interesting but unorganised at the ferry end when disembarking. - Really nice tour starting with a return ferry trip with entertaining , pleasant staff. Ship clean and captain pointing out dolphins etc.( Make sure before boarding that your ticket is the kind with a scanning code or you will have to get it exchanged at the booth, right at the top of the walkway and be delayed.) Once docked at Rottnest it is a short walk to the main area where there are volunteers to help you and give you maps of the island. There are very many variations of trips and there should be someone there to show you where the railway station is for example as it is not clearly signposted. We only just made it for the ride to the guns. Really nice stay on the island and of course the quokkas to see in the very crowded cafe areas. They don't seem bothered by the people if following the rules. Informative talk about the guns and a picnic lunch at the top of the hill then a return coach to the town stopping off at viewpoints. Can't fault the trip or the ferry except for the confusion once landed as to where to go first for which trip! Beaches were amazing and there are bikes to hire but it would be hot work!

Didn’t live up to our expectations - Did this tour today, couldn’t fault the crew on the ferry. Safe and informative crossing. The train up to the hill was okay but very crowded. If you want to hear the drivers commentary then sit at the front. The gun emplacement tour was disorganised and had little concern when one lady was badly affected by heat- a member of the group had to help her up and into shade. The bus tour was average- the promised ice cold water was lukewarm and due to tour members having to help another passenger with getting on and off the bus, it all felt very rushed. The tour guide obviously loves the island but every beach and every place of interest was just described as the best there is. We’d had great recommendations to visit the island but this tour and the various issues didn’t quite live up to the expectations
