Great day out - Great day out and well looked after by Sealink for return trip from Perth as well as the Rottnest Island bus tour company. Quokkas lived up to their reputation for being cute and happy to pose for photographs.

The Best Way to see Rottnest Island - I would thoroughly recommend this tour. A truly comprehensive way to see all of the island. The various tour guides are expert in their areas. I came away feeling like I had learned a lot more about West Australian history.

A great option - I took Pinnacles all inclusive Rottnest island tour.Ideal when tou have just a day and want to see it all;Besides being senior freindly. The pick up was spot on.The whole trip was at a leisurely pace and covered by very knowledgeable and guides proud of the history of the place. This gave me a better feel of the place as it was since the WW2 times. As promised had a good Tete -A-Tete with the Quokkas too. A sumptuous vegetarian lunch was provided for me-On the whole a great expereince. Spots for improvement would be: Have a signage at the ferry landing itself to direct clients to the train station(There were non english speaking people who struggled and were confused, though the information centre personnel put in all efforts to help them.) The public address system in the tour bus needs to be more efficient.

Grand island tour - The grand tour was nice, we had a good time. It’s a full day guided train and bus tour around the island. Except the flies, overall it was a great experience.

Interesting but unorganised at the ferry end when disembarking. - Really nice tour starting with a return ferry trip with entertaining , pleasant staff. Ship clean and captain pointing out dolphins etc.( Make sure before boarding that your ticket is the kind with a scanning code or you will have to get it exchanged at the booth, right at the top of the walkway and be delayed.) Once docked at Rottnest it is a short walk to the main area where there are volunteers to help you and give you maps of the island. There are very many variations of trips and there should be someone there to show you where the railway station is for example as it is not clearly signposted. We only just made it for the ride to the guns. Really nice stay on the island and of course the quokkas to see in the very crowded cafe areas. They don't seem bothered by the people if following the rules. Informative talk about the guns and a picnic lunch at the top of the hill then a return coach to the town stopping off at viewpoints. Can't fault the trip or the ferry except for the confusion once landed as to where to go first for which trip! Beaches were amazing and there are bikes to hire but it would be hot work!

Excellent Tour of Rottnest Is. from Perth - The tour was well worth doing. We explored all parts of Rottness Is. which would have been impossible on our own. The guide was excellent. Leaving from Perth was a bonus for us. Unfortunately, nowhere on the SeaLink ferry could you hear the commentary - very disappointing and when we complained they said they couldn't do anything about it. The meeting spot at the "settlement train station" was extremely difficult to find. Noone seemed to know where it was, which meant a lot of extra walking for nothing.

Afternoon tedious, morning great - The rail and gun site tour were great, much better than our expectations. The afternoon bus tour around the island was tedious. Two hours of seeing similar bays and territory. It would be a better tour if it was an hour shorter.

Hassle - The tour company attempted to contact me the afternoon before the trip. I did not get the message until after hours. Because of that we had to take an abbreviated tour. Also, the boat from Perth was not working so we had to take the train to Fremantle and take that boat, very inconvenient. The person at SeaLink did her best but it was still a hassle.
