Saturday along the sparkling Swan River - I booked a Swan River Cruise on a Saturday afternoon in late September 2024. This was the first full day my mother and I spent in Perth on a week-long holiday there. Doing the Swan River Cruise was a great introduction to the waterways and sights of this beautiful city. It was windy but the sunny yet cool weather made our journey that extra bit more pleasant. Our cruise departed from Barrack Street Jetty in Perth CBD and ventured down the river past Millionaire's Row before ending up at the port city of Fremantle. We had an easy journey back and enjoyed this cruisy (no pun intended) trip up and down the sparkling Swan River.

Beautiful Swan River - I had no idea the Swan River was so wide and beautiful. Was amazed by the number of yachts and yacht clubs, the huge homes along the river banks, the popular 'sand bank' and the easy transition from Perth to Fremantle. We even saw dolphins as we approached to docking area in Fremantle. Highly recommend this tour.

Beautiful spring day in September - Just the most relaxing and surprising beautiful little expedition of our visit to Perth to see the city and some of the highlights from the water was terrific.

Relaxing cruise - We enjoyed a lovely cruise, with the only drawback being that there were limited seats on the first half of the cruise, although this was remedied when we berthed in Perth and many passengers disembarked. We were then able to choose a table for the return trip. The commentary was informative without being boring. It was very comfortable both inside and also sitting on the back deck. The views of the city and the river were lovely.

Enjoyable calm cruise - After a stay on Rottnest I returned to Victory Quay Fremantle to connect with the Swan River cruise into Perth CBD. A leisurely time observing the surrounding area with excellent commentary. Much better than Uber and I took away a different view of Perth . So pleased I did the trip still had plenty of time for my flight back home .

A pleasant afternoon! - It was really nice, although somewhat expensive for what was provided.
I think it would be a great way to catch the early cruise, hop off and spend time in Fremantle or Perth, depending which location you are leaving from.
One highlight was seeing Gina Rinehart's house, as well as the wind surfers and kite surfers - amazing!

Vaitor is a rip off - Don’t book through Viator as you pay US $ and don’t download the app you get ripped off
The tour was boring as and could not hear a thing and it stinks the swan river smells like sewer
