Great Day Out - Trip was brilliantly organised with excellent wine tastings followed by delicious lunch and a thoroughly enjoyable river cruise with lovely afternoon tea and free flow wine accompanied by highly enjoyable singing entertainment from the fabulous crew!

Food, wine, great trip. - Great trip starting with the lovely welcome by the crew. Live music on the return trip was a surprise and great fun. Wine tasting and cheese was good but lunch followed very quickly. Then more cheese and crackers at Lancaster Winery and an open bar on the return.

Relaxing along the Swan - The highlight was the cruise along Swan River to Perth. So relaxing & superb entertainment. The crew were very talented.

Effortless pleasure - An extremely relaxing way to pass the day with a variety of experiences through the historic Swan Valley with good commentary and a great play list from our driver and guide Kim to set the mood. Visits to the two wineries and the chocolate factory were nicely spaced with plenty to sample, cheese platter and chocolates. Upon boarding the boat for the cruise home we were greeted with a delicious array of fruit and cake, accompanied by tea and coffee. Shortly after, the bar was opened and drinks flowed for the duration of the return cruise. We had some great entertainment from the crew on the way back and stunning to enter Elizabeth Quay with the city skyline as a backdrop. This outing was very manageable for anyone with mobility. Issues. Had a great day and would thoroughly recommend.

Excellent trip...highly recommended - I was one of a group of 8 people celebrating a birthday. We started at Elizabeth Quay and hopped on a bus then hit a few vineyards. Absolutely worthwhile. Got wasted. Cheese was fabulous. After the 3rd vineyard, we hopped on the cruiser and had a very nice, slow journey back to Elizabeth Quay. Entertained by the crew, Jess and Lauren, both of whom can sing exceptionally well. Food was good, followed by more wine...talk about getting sloshed! Wine, women and song in the one place. I HIGHLY recommend Captain Cook Cruisers. Fabulous day.

Great day … don’t eat breakfast beforehand - Great day. Mixture of boat and bus depending on the tides. Food and wines galore. The commentary going there was mixed. Lots of people talking while the captain was talking. Maybe give an option for those who want to listen….give headsets to listen and to also drown out the idle chatter. Choice of wineries were nice but I didn’t find a wine I could rave about. Meet some lovely people. The staff singing on the way back was not my cup of tea. Good day though. More positives than negatives.

Definitely worth it - It was a wonderful experience with the crew of the River Lady providing top service. The wine & cheese selections were superb. The only comment would be that it was rushed at places.

Wine cruise on the Swan River - Lovely cruise up the Swan River to Guilford. The boat was clean, staff were friendly and attentive, however the boat was extremely packed and definitely felt crowded being that you are on their for a total of 5 years. Morning and afternoon tea were supplied. Out lunch at Sandalford was good, service was quick and food was fine, although menu was very limited. We visited another winery and chocolate factory on the bus tour after lunch. The return trip cruise saw an open wine bar for 2 hours and entertainment by the female crew. A pleasant day on the Swan

Good and not so good - Our original trip( gourmet wine cruise) was sadly cancelled by the cruise company and we were offered a refund or an alternative cruise. We opted for the alternative cruise which was running on the same day as our cancelled trip. Good points.. Crew were entertaining and very helpful. Wine tasting on board was nice with cheese and biscuits Wine tasting at winery well organised and good Chocolate stop was ok Trip back on river was very pleasant with free flow wine Not so good points… Drinking water on boat was vile -sorry to be brutal but chemical city and undrinkable with no option to buy bottled water.. Lunch was pre ordered and very basic menu ( burgers salad pizza). Sadly several lunches were served 25 mins after everyone else.. Mini bus was mini! If you’ve got a bit of a girth ( I have!) it was quite tight to pass up and down the aisle. Bus driver was very good though and she drove us very nicely. All in all the day was ok but quite expensive for a river trip with burger and chips or pizza. I think the gourmet meal at sandlefords winery would have been much better but we didn’t get that opportunity.

Cancelled twice! - We went to Perth for a two-week holiday in June and booked this cruise several weeks ahead of our departure. While we were in Perth, the company rang to advise that the date we had booked had been cancelled, so we changed to the following day. Then they rang to advise that this cruise had also been cancelled, so we claimed a refund. This was very disappointing because we only had limited options and it was something we were looking forward to as part of our Perth visit. So, I have no idea what the cruise was like! And pretty poor that such a renowned cruise company can't manage their bookings.
