Arequipa - Colca Canyon
Colca Canyon - Pick up starts between 02:30h and 3:05h. Please be ready by 02:30h. We will pick you up and drive from Arequipa for 3 hours towards Chivay, the capital of the Colca Canyon, heading northwest behind the snow-covered Chachani. We will arrive at Yanque village where we will have breakfast.

Arequipa - Colca Canyon
Colca Canyon - Pick up starts between 02:30h and 3:05h. Please be ready by 02:30h. We will pick you up and drive from Arequipa for 3 hours towards Chivay, the capital of the Colca Canyon, heading northwest behind the snow-covered Chachani. We will arrive at Yanque village where we will have breakfast.
Then we continue driving for 1.5 hours more towards the most visited point, “the Cross” of the Condor. Here, we can see the depth of the canyon and the flight of the Condors.
The area features beautiful typical towns like Yanque and Maca, colonial churches, friendly people in traditional needlework dresses, and hundreds of pre-Inca terraces still in use for growing Andean crops like corn, quinoa, and kiwicha, among others. We will also visit the hot spring pools, stopping there for about 45 minutes.
Next, we will visit Chivay town for lunch. After lunch, we will drop you off at the hostel in Chivay, and you will have a free afternoon for acclimatization.
