Pacaya Samiria National Reserve - Upon arrival at the airport, we will transfer to the hotel and then embark on a journey of about an hour and a half. Once in Nauta, we will start our expeditions to the Pacaya Samiria National Reserve, one of Peru’s most pristine protected areas. After a two-hour walk, we will reach this stunning landscape, known as the jungle of mirrors due to the reflective quality of its black waters. After completing the entry process, we will head to our first camp where a variety of activities await us.
Lunch will be followed by our first outing, offering options such as pink and gray dolphin watching, sport fishing for piranhas and other species, primate watching, hiking in the seasonal floodplain forest, bird watching, and more.
Dinner will be served, and there will be an optional night walk to search for nocturnal creatures, with possible sightings of snakes, spiders, raccoons, night monkeys, night birds, frogs, and more.

Pacaya Samiria National Reserve - Day 02
We will start the day with an early morning activity before breakfast, the best time to see the most exotic and colorful birds. We recommend waking up early to observe birds such as macaws, parrots, tanagers, and orioles, as well as various mammal species.
Breakfast will be followed by a morning walk to explore narrow streams and observe the wonders of Mother Nature. We hope to see monkeys, sloths, iguanas, and vibrant birds that inhabit this unique ecosystem.
Lunch will be served, followed by an afternoon of dolphin watching. Our naturalist will explain how dolphins adapted to life in the Amazon after having lived in the ocean millions of years ago.
Dinner will be followed by an evening boat ride in search of alligators.

Pacaya Samiria National Reserve - We will observe mammals in their natural habitat, experience diverse biodiversity, and enjoy the beautiful landscape teeming with wildlife and nature, including monkeys, toucans, anacondas, giant otters, and pink dolphins.

Pacaya Samiria National Reserve - Day 03
We will start very early with a walk until we reach the city of Nauta, exploring the magic of the jungle in all its splendor. The tour will conclude in Iquitos at 5:00 PM.
