Loved this tour from Arequipa - Loved this tour, it was the perfect amount of time and allowed us to walk at our own pace. The views were gorgeous and our tour guide Marcos was great, he always kept us informed of plans and timings! The food and accommodation was also really good, highly recommend this tour

I recommend this tour 👍 - Thank you Marcos!!! I really enjoyed learning all about the various plants and their specific utilities for the locals out there in the canyon. I also enjoyed the freedom given to hike at our own pace. I’m glad I booked a tour, because it includes a lot of other cool stops like the hot springs. It was all well organized. The food was delicious too! Alpacaa :) I honestly have nothing bad to say about this experience.

Nice experience - Very good experience, good walk, ideal if you really like walking, if your step is slow, the Guide, Marco, who is very experienced, awaits you. The night at the lodge is worth the hike, good meals too.

Difficult but very nice tour - Our two-day trek through the Colca Canyon with Marcos was a fantastic experience! Marcos proved to be not only an experienced Guide, but also a great storyteller. He gave us a lot of insight into the history, culture and nature of the region along the way. Be warned of the difficulty of the trek. It's kind of spicy. Some experience is desirable.

Horrible - This company is terrible!!! They have no regard for their guests welfare. I got very ill on the bus to Colca Canyon due to altitude sickness and my partner alerted the tour operator MARCUS MANRIQUE RAMOS who did nothing and told the driver to continue ascending to higher altitude due to ‘being in a hurry’. After 40min more of gaining altitude myself and my partner were literally dumped on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere, just a couple of shacks, in O degrees temperature, and told we had to hitchhike back to Arequipa. No refund, no assistance at all. Luckily after 30min we were able to convince a passing bus to take us back to Arequipa for more money and travelling in the storage area of the bus without seats, heating, bathroom access, nothing. After 4 hours we finally arrived back to Arequipa and later that day we received a call from MARCUS asking if we made it back. He didn’t inquire as to my health and when my partner advised him he should be more prepared with oxygen and any form of first aid, he abruptly terminated the call. Avoid this company at all cost for your own safety and go with a more professional and reputable company. What a way to spend $200 for 8 hours of torture. Can’t believe the treatment and no offer of even a partial refund. Pfffffft. MARCUS also almost got into a fight with another passenger when picking him up at the start of the trip. What the hell man?

Very disappointing excursion! - The excursion was absolutely not up to our expectations or the price. The guide has constantly pressed us throughout the trekking which I prefer to warn you is difficult. Meals are unique so no choices possible (for vegetarians you will have to eat alpaca). Finally the room is a cagibi that I had to share with another person I did not know. No hot water in the communal showers. Excursion to avoid!
