Transition to the lake port at Puno, from where you embark on a boat journey to the Uros’s self-made island. The Uros are a pre-historic community inhabiting a multitude of man-made islands constructed out of the totora plant, a specific kind of reed found in Lake Titikaka. They use the same material to build their dwellings. Upon completing a trek of approximately an hour and a half, proceed to the Isle of Taquile. Upon reaching, partake in an informational session about the island. Enjoy a delicious midday meal before beginning your voyage back to Puno.
