I would book again. - Excellent tour. Great, knowledgeable, friendly, polyglot guides. Modern vans, good hotels except one which had no hot water but was owned by a wonderful couple, and for one night we didn’t mind. We went on the 11-day tour. Perfect amount of days to spend in Peru!

Amazing 2 days! - Truly a great experience. Willy, our guide, was knowledgeable, patient, and friendly. He really cared that we got the knowledge of each site we visited. He took a lot of photos from the correct locations getting the backgrounds perfect. Our lunches and other food was great and gave a good variety of Peruvian cooking. Peru-sites was well organized in their tickets to all locations and made sure we were met with English speaking personnel at all meeting locations and hotels. Highy recommend the tour and guide as the best way to get the most from Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu.

A must do tour for Peru! - We had an amazing experience. We got to see so many sites that we would not have seen otherwise. The tour made this portion of our trip carefree knowing that everything was taken care of. We felt so comfortable with our guide and knew our bags would be safe when left behind. Our tour guide Willy was spectacular. He educated us on the history of Peru and the Incas. He took amazing photos for us too! No need for a selfie stick! And he knew all the great spots for a great shot. He gave us so many great tips. Our Spanish is horrible, but Willy’s English was perfect. There were no language barriers when we were with him. The hotel and meals were also great. We don’t have a single complaint about our experience!!!

Perfect Tour ! - What a wonderful adventure ! I would first like to thank Wilfredo (willy). He was the perfect tour guide. He spoke English very well , which was a plus for us. His understanding of the Inca history and culture was superb. Who better than to have a tour guide that is also of .. Inca descent. He was perfect for my sons and I . It was like a glorious history trip. My boys and I learned so much about the sacred valley , salt mines, and Machu Picchu . Thank you Viator

Great and well organized 2 day tour, highly recommend - We did a two day private tour of Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu with the Vistadome train. The Sacred Valley tour was great and included all of the major sites after which we took the Vistadome train to Aguas Calientes where we stayed the night before an early morning trip to Machu Picchu the next day. The tour was well organized by Rosa, and our tour guide Willie was excellent. Willie was very patient and made sure to give us plenty of time in Machu Picchu with detailed explanations. He really made the trip special for our family.

Mis-advertised Tour Title - The 2-days Private Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu tour is mis-advertised as there is no visit to the Sacred Valley except for lunch at an average restaurant in Urumbamba, which is located in the Sacred Valley. There are no visits to any sites in the Sacred Valley. Day 1 starts out with a visit to Chinchero, a village known for its weaving of llama and alpaca. One is taken there to learn about the weaving process and shop. Next, you visit the salt mines (more shopping), and then you visit Moray, a sight with terraced Inca farming. You then eat lunch and drive to Odetiyambo to catch the train. I think it would be better if the Sacred Valley lunch stop was dropped altogether. On Day 2, you go to Machu Picchu in the morning and have the services of your guide for 2 hours. The guide on day 1 was not very informed and day 2 was ok but clearly wanted to leave within 2 hours. My suggestion is that you arrange your travels when in Lima or Cusco. Viator actually sub-contracted out a local travel agency, and I later learned that they were not highly rated. This tour is NOT WORTH $459. One last comment, hotel in Aguas Caliente was average. You can probably find a nicer place to stay at during your visit. We were rushed and thus I chose Viator because their tours in Europe have been outstanding. Sadly, it's not the same service in Peru.
