Day 1

Pacaya Samiria National Reserve - Welcome and transfer to the town of Nauta via private car.

• Boat transfer into the Pacaya-Samiria National Reserve, where you can observe pink and gray dolphins (bufeos) and various bird species during the journey.

Pacaya Samiria National Reserve - Arrival at a local community and accommodation in the refuge.

• Enjoy a traditional lunch on board.

Pacaya Samiria National Reserve - Excursion around the refuge to spot sloths and iguanas.

Pacaya Samiria National Reserve - Dinner.

Pacaya Samiria National Reserve - Night walk to search for tarantulas and other nocturnal insects.

Day 2

Pacaya Samiria National Reserve - Breakfast followed by a journey on a peque-peque boat or motorboat along a small river, observing various monkey species, colorful birds like macaws and toucans, and possibly tapirs, capybaras, collared peccaries, and white-lipped peccaries.

Pacaya Samiria National Reserve - Arrival at a suitable camping site.

• Lunch.

Pacaya Samiria National Reserve - Trail walk along a Cocha (lake).

• Opportunity to spot caimans and nocturnal birds during the ride.

• On the return, there is a chance to encounter snakes and other nocturnal creatures of the jungle.

Pacaya Samiria National Reserve - Dinner and overnight stay at the Pacaya Samiria National Reserve.

Day 3

Pacaya Samiria National Reserve - Early morning birdwatching.

• Breakfast.

Pacaya Samiria National Reserve - Walk to see giant trees.

Pacaya Samiria National Reserve - Fishing for piranhas and other species.

• Lunch.

Iquitos - Return to Nauta town and then back to Iquitos.
