Upon reaching the summit, the breathtaking views will leave you in awe. Take your time to capture stunning photos while the guide explains the vibrant colors and surrounding snow-capped peaks, including Cusco’s highest peak, Ausangate Mountain (6385m / 20948ft). A great trip with a great guide! - We were very happy with our trip, the tour guide was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable, the commute was pleasant, and the free meals were good too. Highly recommended.

Colorful Mountain Tour - My family and I did the colorful mountain tour, our guide Francisco was always attentive and willing to help us.
The tour has included food, income and transportation.
The best due that we had a very small group and we enjoyed the tour quite a lot.
One of the best agencies in Cusco my recommendable.

Early bird gets the views without the hoards! - Carlos our amazing guide was on time, well organized, fun, funny, and really informative. This tour allowed us to be the first on the mountain so we could take amazing photos and enjoy the scenery without the hoards of people arriving later. We added the Red Valley and it was well worth it, though others didn’t join I would say they missed out. This is the only tour I would recommend due to the early timing. Great day thanks to Carlos and his team

Amazing trip - Urbano was fantastic and did great with my kids as well. Exceptional guide with a fun personality. Breakfast & lunch were buffets and delicious. Very well prepared with lots of traditional options. Great trip with scenic views to the trail head.

Breathtaking - I met Vidal when I did the Inca Trail some years ago. This time, my boyfriend and I decided to visit Cusco together and of course Vidal Expeditions was our choice to visit the Rainbow Mountain. Vidal was our guide and he was very helpful and made us feel comfortable all the time during the trip. He adapted to our needs in the best possible way, always with a big smile and professionalism. Our trip to the Rainbow Mountain with Vidal Expeditions was simply amazing and we will not hesitate to contact them next time we are in Cusco.

Just do it! 100% recommended - Just amazing! Our driver Alex and Urbano our guide were the best! The rainbow mountains are pretty spectacular, they recommend us to leave early (before 4 am) to avoid crowds and get a better view, totally worth it! Urbano was supportive all the way to the top and back, always looking out for us, providing interesting facts and taking beautiful pictures! Totally recommend it! Congratulations on the experiences you provide 🧡

Must Do Hike! - Chino was the best guide! We had a group of 5, and he was so encouraging and kind. While the initial part of the journey would be totally unremarkable at a lower altitude, we really appreciated the frequent stops. Chino frequently checked in with us to see how we were feeling. He also gave great advice for taking deep breaths and had other tricks to help us deal with the altitude. After we made it to the top, Chino was endlessly patient, encouraging us to wait a few minutes for the clouds to pass so we could get better pictures. Then he was the best photographer EVER! I remember seeing many, many tour companies offering this hike, and I am so glad I picked Vidal Expeditions

Misleading description - This tour is very clearly advertised as a private tour as says "On this private tour from Cusco, see the colorful strata after a moderately difficult hike." When I got to Cusco the tour company called at night to let me know this was not a private tour and I had to pay extra if I wanted a private tour. When I complained they said that's how viator had set it up. I have complained to Viator twice and have asked them to correct the mistake on their page and still no change. They did however provide a partial refund. Since there was not time to book another tour we took it, but were not happy with it not being a private tour. I will leave this for a couple of more weeks and if their page is not corrected I will report this to FTC. Viator has been a good company to me and I have booked may tours with them, but if they have blatant mistake and refuse to fix it after being warned twice then they will have to answer to FTC. At any rate, BEFORE BOOKING THIS TRIP CALL THEM TO ENSURE IT IS A PRIVATE TOUR, NOT A GROUP ONE.
