Rainbow Mountain ,A Must See! - The Rainbow Mountain Trek was very tiring but definitely worth it. The colors of the mountain were amazing and Bamba’s guides ensured we were safe and comfortable with whatever we were needed for the hike. An unforgettable experience!

Well organized tour of the beautiful Rainbow Mountain - My fiancée and I had been wanting to do this trek since our last visit to Peru in 2018. We had a previous good experience with Bamba and wanted to go ahead with them for this new adventure. Bamba ran an incredibly organized tour that considered the needs of its group. They were on time and picked us up early considering the weather on the mountain during their rainy season. They made sure we knew the day's itinerary and breakfast and lunch were included to make sure we had plenty of energy to hike up to the summit. It was a fabulous day run by an excellent tour company.

Rainbow mountain 2 day trek - Fantastic experience. The views you see on this trip are breathtaking. We had a great tour guide Anderson quispe sandoval, who was very knowledgeable and patient with us. Id say definitely take your time because of the change in altitude, slow and steady definitely won it for us. A great trip.

Rainbow Trek heaven with Bamba! - This was really such a unique trek! I've done a lot of trekking in the Cusco area, and in Nepal, but this was so different! The whole organization was spot on, and I could not recommend Bamba more! Thanks to the whole team for making this so memorable and fun! Highly recommend it!

2D/1N Rainbow Mountain Trek - In short, two days of wonderful but tough experiences, trekking the Andes at 4300-5100 meters height, but also exploring the rural communities and towns along the way. The greatest part of seeing the Rainbow Mountains was not necessarily seeing the Rainbow Mountains, but rather getting an impression of the vast and majestic Andes mountaint range, narrated by our great guide Nico. Parts of the trip took place in inca and pre-inca ruins as stopping points on the way to the mountains and back, also walking among rural fields and into a local "pub" for chicha. Apart from the guide Nico, a huge thanks is forwarded to the rest of the staff: the driver Yordy. and Chef Saqra Grimaldo with his assistent Cecilio, making for great culinary experiences along the way. HOWEVER : Acclimatizing is key. We spent four days in Cuzco and Aguas Calientes before the trek, but even so most of us were struck by altitude sickness the first day.

Climbing the Rainbow Mountain - Walking in the Andean mountains left a majestic and gorgeous impression. This terrain is like nowhere else on the planet! In addition to this, our guide Nico was able to tell us numerous details and interesting facts about the history of Peru, the inka culture and the life in the Andean mountains. Very inspiring! The team served us traditional Peruvian meals, which I had never tasted before and found very tasty.

Touristy Winikunka - Was originally booked to do the 2D/1N version of Rainbow Mountain after my Inka Trail 4D to Machu Picchu. But this excursion got cancelled due to high river waters at the van crossing (December/rainy season). So Bamba offered me and I took the 1D excursion instead. Was one of 4 visitors out of 15 in our group who decided to hike up and back the entire way (instead of relying on the horses). While I enjoyed the trail and cursed the altitude (16,500+ ft at top), I didn't really care for the breakfast and lunch stops so much (would rather have skipped) and the briefing & discussion were a bit hard to understand in English. Still, I would (and have) recommended that people do this hike especially before it all gets overrun with tourists as serious building construction at the trailhead continue (a/o Dec 2019).

2D/1N trek - We were told to meet at 6:15 and our guide did not arrive until 6:50, only me and my friend on the tour so no real excuse. Nice walk on day one, when we arrived at the camp the sleeping bags (which we paid extra for) were definitely not made for the -10 degree weather. Tour guide luckily gave us extra blankets and moved our tent inside mud hut so we were slightly warmer however if there were more people in the group this wouldn’t have been possible. How can Bamba charge customers for sleeping bags which are not suitable for the trip? Rainbow mountain trek was good but trip ruined by sleeping arrangement. Would not recommend the over night stay - would recommend one day trip to rainbow mountain.
