Exceptionally Wonderful one day sacred valley tour with Marilu - We booked a small group tour, but, we were the only people who reserved. The Experia ( local travel company) reached out to us whether we wanted to have a private tour just to cover their cost. We agreed. In the beginning, we were worried whether the car will be a small old beat up car. But when we arrived at Cusco, they provided really professional service as if we booked a private tour for two of us. The car was a spacious, clean and new van to fit my 6.4 feet tall husband with lots of leg room. Our tour guide was Marilu, a woman guide with 17 year experiences. She was so pleasant, knowledgeable, accommodating, and friendly for the whole day trip. Very professionally organized and executed flawlessly. Lunch was served at a beautiful hotel buffet restaurant. Food was well prepared, clean, and delicious. The driver was very careful and professional. While the road was winding, we did not feel motion sickness or anything. We travelled around the world for over 35 years for our work and we typically travel 3 months out of the year after our retirement. We will give a 5 star for this travel agency. If you can, you should request Marilu, as a tour guide, she is exceptional.

Best Guide Maiki - Our guide Maiki was great and helpful He had a lot of knowledge about history and culture and we learned a lot. Our group was quiet with a small number of people, it was hilling, it was able to ask a lot of questions, and the drive was too comfortable. I would also like to recommend it to my friends. Thank you for giving me a good memory.

Best one-day tour to know the culture, food, and history of the Sacred Valley - I highly recommend this day trip! It was a great way to get a better sense of the life, history, and culture of Peruvians. It was a great mix of seeing Incan ruins, learning about food and drinks and handicrafts of the people. There are even more stops than what are mentioned, and it felt like a very authentic way to understand the Sacred Valley. John Maik was my tour guide and he did a great job of giving us information and setting expectations by sharing how much time we would have at and between each stop. He also helped take nice photos and videos so we can remember the places we visited. I highly recommend this as a great way to see the Sacred Valley.

Great first day in Cusco - This was a great tour. Our tour guide Junior was amazing, and the early start allowed us to visit each place while we escape the crowds. We were lucky to have a private tour, Junior explained everything and knows so much about history and nature. The driver was so fun and safe. The salt mines are amazing, but the Inca spots (moray and sacred valley) are just incredible. We also got to taste chicha and went to see the alpacas and the women working on them, we didn't feel forced to buy anything. Overall a great time and good for your first day in Cusco to get settled with the altitude. And if you get Junior as a guide you're really lucky!

Great way to see a lot - I enjoyed the visit to the alpaca / llama wool weaving / knitting co-op in Chinchero, it was interesting getting to feed the llamas / alpacas and seeing the process involved going from dirty wool to amazing finished products. No high pressure sales, but a huge variety of high quality hand made products. The Maras salt ponds and the the Moray archaeological site were both interesting. We also stopped for a delicious buffet lunch at Sonesta Posadas de Inca Yucay, which was the best meal I have had in 10 days in Peru. This was a great way to see a lot and end up in Ollantaytambo where we saw more interesting ruins and caught the train to Machu Picchu. The driver and guide (Carlos) were both great.

Sacred Valley tour with Exploor - Another early start for us with our guide Mick arrived at our hotel exactly as arranged. He used WhatsApp to keep us informed of pickup etc. It was big day visiting the Sacred Valley. First stop was to feed llamas and Alpacas 🦙 with a demonstration on how they produce the wool and garments. Then we were shown the store full of amazing products. As we were doing a private tour we were the only people there. Next we visited Moray to see the terraces used by the Incas to experiment with crops. Then a visit to the salt harvesting area where they extract the salt from a saltwater spring which is 5 x saltier than seawater. We then visited a place that brews and sells Chicha, which is a traditional Peruvian beer made from corn, pretty good. I got a shot of the Skylodge hanging on the side of a cliff, would you stay there? After lunch we went to Ollantaytambo. We caught the scenic train to Machu Picchu from there the other day and didn’t even see the ruins. So fortunately this tour took us there. It was spectacular and it would have been a shame to miss it, but I suppose if you missed it you wouldn’t know. 🤷‍♂️ Again I must say our guide Mick and driver Erwin (not sure I spelled that right) from Exploor were fantastic and very informative. I highly recommend them.

Good visit - Overall had a great trip. Learned a lot about sacred valet and Jorge did a great job explaining the different sites to us and its history. Removing one star solely because Jorge told us a soup in the lunch buffet was vegetarian but it was actually chicken soup. Recommendation is if he doesn’t know if something has meat it in or not, he should check for us as the tour guide. Besides that though, he did a great job.

Excellent tour - This was a wonderful day. Jorge was a great guide, very knowledgeable. The day was just a couple of hours too long. It was all so interesting and my favorite part was the Salt Flats.
