Great overview of town with treats along the way - Nice walking tour of Perugia. You get an overview of the city with its history mixed in. Along the way, there are different food stops that all have a little local story. Richard, the guide, had made Perugia his home and he clearly loves his new town. The warmth and humor he shares with his stories make you want to come back and visit Perugia.

Excellent from start to finish for family of 8 - Phenomenal tour of a remarkable city. At first I was skeptical of an American guide but Richard was knowledgeable, funny, and has built great relationships with each establishment. The food was out of this world good- and history was woven throughout each stop and each transition. One of our family members has mobility issues and Perugia can be tough to navigate. Richard helped make some adjustments that ensured we could all access the tour according to our needs. When we come back to Perugia for a longer stay, we will be sure to book with them again.

Eye n Mouth Opener - Our group was reduced to 2 of us - hooray Richard (American ex pat) was informative, credible (ex chef) & funny Explored ancient Perugia like nothing else - quirky old stunning & rich - alley ways & walls couldn’t imagine - a sealed door for ancient umbrians to let the dead body out!! Food was fascinating - it’s history somewhat lacking at times & over shadowed by the awesome history of Perugia itself Expected to know a bit more about Umbrian pasta & meat Exquisite shops & art deco ceilings Pleasant weather Plenty time to walk n talk Bit more food history would be good Gelato was the icing to finish - literally 😎 Touch over priced IMHO (had food tours before in other cities) - but happy to pay
